Quick answer: Take down Chen Zhu, speak with the woman puppet near him, locate Bai Xue’s body in Pangzhen’s backstreet, then inspect beneath the large tree beside the backstreet well to obtain Snow and Blood.
Bai Xue is a side tale in Phantom Blade Zero. It starts in the Mountain of Imprisonment and wraps up in Pangzhen, with three objectives in total.
How to start Bai Xue
Bai Xue follows Ledger of Atonement. In the Mountain of Imprisonment, Chen Zhu, the Agonized Ironmask, stands roughly 78 m from the Shrine Outer Gate bell. The bell locations appear on a separate map.
Chen Zhu’s defeat rouses the female puppet a few metres away, opening the tale with this quest log entry:
“Chen Zhu, the Maskwalker searching for the list, left behind an old necklace after you defeated him. It seems to have restored some awareness to the female puppet at his side… Go check on her.”
Your objective reads “Speak to the female puppet beside Chen Zhu”. Walk up to her and talk to her to move the tale forward.

Find Bai Xue’s body in Pangzhen
The next objective is “Find Bai Xue’s body on Pangzhen’s backstreet”. Her body and her memory flowers sit roughly 70-80 m from the Old Man Gen’s House bell and about 30 m above it. Every other item in the area is covered in the Pangzhen collectibles list.

This is where the Bloodstained Necklace you took from Chen Zhu comes into play. The memory flower here carries this card:
“Her childhood friend had returned, now dressed in martial attire, bearing the blood and dust of his travels, with nothing but words of self-reproach on his lips… But she would never mistake him for anyone else.
She kept talking to him about the old days, trying to prove that in the two years he had been gone, nothing had changed.”
Bai Xue reward: Snow and Blood
The final objective is “Search the base of the large tree by the backstreet well in Pangzhen”. The tree stands about 67 m from the Old Man Gen’s House bell and about 34 m above it. Search its base to pick up Snow and Blood, an accessory.
“A token exchanged between two young lovers as a pledge of devotion. Red as congealed blood and white as frost and snow, the coral beads intertwine in alternating hues, reflecting their shared hope of weathering every storm together and never parting.”
Its effect: “When a nearby enemy is Bleeding, damage dealt to enemies increases by 10%. Enemies also take 20% more Bleeding damage while attacking.”
