Quick answer: Rest at the Perfect Vessel Pond bell, climb the red-lantern stair behind it, and walk toward the gate building. Watch for red aim lines and the grab; his second bar is Lei Dang, One-Armed Tiger.
Where to find Lei Dang in the Mirage Estate

The arena is wide and paved, with round carved stone medallions set into the floor, fires burning along the edges, and red lantern poles. A stair leads up to the gate building. On Pathbreaker, his first bar holds 166,590 health.

The exchange at the gate is short. These are the lines, with each speaker as the game names them:
- Yu’er’s body controlled by the Herald: “Our honored guest has arrived.”
- Lei Dang: “Soul…”
- Soul: “I’m no longer part of the Order. Its fate has nothing to do with me.”
- Soul: “Even if I only have sixty-six days left… I’d rather live as a human, and die as one.”
- Lei Dang: “That shot… was meant for you.”
Lei Dang, the Tiger Cannon: first-bar attacks
None of these have in-game names. They are descriptions of what he does, so you can match the wind-up to the attack.
Ranged cannon attacks
Long-range cannon shot. He often begins from far away. A red targeting streak crosses the arena before he fires; use it as your warning that a shot is coming.

Cannon blast. The shell erupts in a massive fireball on impact.

Cannon barrage. At medium range, narrow red-orange targeting streaks spread outward from his cannon arm, followed by a volley of shots.

Close-range attacks and the grab
Overhead cannon slam. He raises the tiger-head cannon high above his head and drives it down onto you.

Leap and ground burst. He springs high into the air, then lands as glowing cracks flare across the nearby floor.

Grab. After a heavy swing, he often takes a quick sidestep and then grabs. He knocks you flat, pins you down, and fires a glowing orb from the cannon at point-blank range. Don’t hang around right next to him after that swing-and-sidestep pattern.

The end of the first bar
As his first bar approaches empty, red energy erupts across the floor around him and his head lights up red.

He springs far backward into the air, cannon glowing red, then unleashes a single enormous blast that fills the screen.

Second phase: Lei Dang, One-Armed Tiger
Emptying the first bar doesn’t end the fight. A scene shows Lei Dang stripped to the waist, the cannon still on his arm. He says “Good! You didn’t disappoint me after all!” and then “It’s our last fight. Let’s make it count.”

The boss bar’s new title is Lei Dang, One-Armed Tiger. During this phase, he cries “You won’t escape this move!” before soaring into the air. Huge rocks then crash down and remain upright across the arena floor.

He also leaps in wrapped in a red glow, and the floor bursts into flames where he lands. Expect to hear him shout “What a thrill!” and “All things return to dust!” as the phase goes on.

Tips for fighting Lei Dang
- Rest at the Perfect Vessel Pond bell before climbing the stairs. In our run, dying returned you to that bell; Lei Dang was waiting in the arena roughly 60 m away, and the next attempt had no scene.
- A long red aim line stretching across the arena signals that his far cannon shot is on the way.
- He has two health bars. Once the first one is empty, the fight continues against Lei Dang, One-Armed Tiger.
Tiger Cannon reward and achievement
Ending the Lei Dang fight hands you the Tiger Cannon and unlocks the All Return to Dust achievement (Defeat Lei Dang, the Tiger Cannon).
| Tiger Cannon | Value |
|---|---|
| Type | Destructive Phantom Edge |
| Rank | I |
| Damage | 310 |
| Status Effects | 208 |
Its card text reads: “A powerful cannon whose thunderous blast echoes like a tiger’s roar. Lei Dang’s final gift to an old friend.” It also carries a Stone-Clearing Shot line: “Once obtained, Tiger Cannon can shatter weakened stone walls, even when not equipped.”

Yu’er after the fight
Use the Perfect Vessel Pond bell to return to his arena and climb back inside. Yu’er lies on the carpet at the arena’s outer boundary, with an E prompt beside her. Press E to start a scene: she says “Lengtu… he’s going to Soulrend Cliff…” then shuts her eyes, and Soul settles her onto the carpet. A blue Memory Flower, Leng Tu’s VI. Rift of Bones, appears beside her former spot; it is not there before you speak with her.

In our run, when Soul returned after resting at a bell, the arena was vacant, and Lei Dang was still gone.
