Follow the Money is ending 12 of 12 in the Roblox story game Say Cheese, and it is the one where the camera turns on the people running the news. In the other routes you photograph the park’s chaos. Here you photograph who is paying for it. A full run takes about two and a half minutes, costs nothing, and comes down to seven photos taken at the right moments, plus one last shot after the park goes quiet.

Quick answer: Photograph the “hi mom!” peep, the top-hat peep, the couple, then the screamer taking cash from the man in the suit. Keep shooting the suit until he confesses, then photograph the fallen TV.

Say Cheese – follow the money ending

What the Follow the Money ending requires

There is no item to buy, no character to level up, and no setting to change. Say Cheese is free to play on its Roblox page, and you never control a body in the park. The whole game is a point-and-click camera viewfinder laid over a 2D scene. Whatever you frame and click becomes a headline on the park’s big TV, and the crowd reacts to that headline.

  • A fresh run, started from the beginning so the opening events play in order.
  • Patience between shots, since several key moments only appear after the previous headline airs.
  • A clean frame on each subject, because the headline on the TV is your only confirmation that a photo counted.

Each correct photo produces a specific headline. Use these as checkpoints. If the TV shows the text below after your click, you are still on the route.

Set up the run with the first three photos

The opening shots are low-stakes park news. They matter because they move the story forward to the moment the man in the suit shows up with money.

Open the pause screen and choose RESTART to begin a clean run. The same screen lists RESUME, SETTINGS, and MAIN MENU, along with your current count of endings found. Restarting puts every character back at the start of the story.

Find the cheerful round peep waving and saying “hi mom!” and click while it is inside the viewfinder. The TV should switch to PEEP SAYS CHEESE, and nearby characters gather to look at it.

The first photo airs as PEEP SAYS CHEESE on the park TV.
Frame the peep wearing a bowler-style hat and a monocle, then click. The broadcast changes to #OOH NICE HAT. Take this one photo of him and move on.

Look for the round and square couple blushing with hearts floating above them, and photograph them together. The TV answers with #GROSS, GO GET A ROOM. This is the last bit of harmless gossip before the run turns.

Photograph the bribe: #WHO PAID THE SCREAMER?

After the couple headline, the screamer appears on the right side of the park. A man in a business suit and sunglasses walks up and hands him a sack of money. You need both of them in the frame while the cash changes hands, so keep the viewfinder on that side of the screen instead of the middle of the park. A clean shot puts #WHO PAID THE SCREAMER? on the TV, and every photo after this builds on it.

Once that headline airs, stop clicking for a moment. The feed breaks into static and a TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES card while the newsroom panics with lines like “WHERE did you get that?”, “Cut the feed! CUT THE FEED!”, and “…Too late. It’s EVERYWHERE.” The crowd starts turning red and angry. The station then tries to steer you away from the suit with “Nothing to see here…” and “Don’t look at HIM! Yell at each OTHER!” Ignore it. The suit is still your subject.

After the bribe airs, the station tries to redirect the crowd away from the man in the suit.

Keep the camera on the man in the suit

The next three photos are all of the same man as the crowd closes in on him. Each one escalates the story, and each has its own headline. Wait for the scene described in each step before you click.

Frame the man in the suit while he stands among the angry crowd and click. The TV reads #MAN IN SUIT SPOTTED, and the station pushes back with “Stop following him! He’s NOBODY!”

Spotting the suit in the crowd prompts the station to insist he’s nobody.
Wait for an angry square to walk right up behind the suit and confront him, then photograph the two together. The headline becomes #SUIT LINKED TO STATION. Your boss reacts with “PHOTOGRAPHER, you’re FIRED! ..Do you hear me?”, which you can safely ignore.

The confrontation photo ties the suit to the station on air.
When the angry squares start chasing the suit across the park, frame the chase and click. The TV switches to #SUIT HAS NOWHERE TO RUN. That is the final photo you need to take during the chase.

The confession, the falling TV, and the last photo

From here the scene mostly plays itself. The mob surrounds the man in the suit, and he cracks with “Okay! OKAY!” before throwing money bills in the air and shouting “The STATION pays for ALL of it!” The station makes one last attempt to hold attention with “Don’t LISTEN to him!” and “Look at the TV! LOOK AT THE TV!” No photo is required during this stretch.

Prompt reading Look at the TV appears while the screen still shows SUIT HAS NOWHERE TO RUN
After the confession, the station begs the park to look back at the TV.

They don’t. The screen displays OFF AIR, then falls over; someone in the newsroom says “They were never supposed to look at…”, as the crowd shifts from angry red to calm white figures. Cash remains scattered around the fallen screen.

The broadcast tower falls, leaving money scattered across the park.

Next, the lights fade until a spotlight shines on the dead TV, and the station addresses you directly. It says “Hello? HELLO? Is this thing ON?”, then “Fine. FINE. You want the TRUTH?”, followed by “…I paid for EVERY scream.” and finally “Please. Somebody WATCH me.” Let the monologue end, then move the viewfinder over the dark screen and wait.

During the station’s monologue, line the viewfinder up on the fallen screen.

When the prompt “click to take the last photo” appears, keep the brackets on the fallen black TV and click. That shot closes the run.

How to confirm Follow the Money unlocked

A polaroid results card titled FOLLOW THE MONEY ENDING appears right after the last photo. It is marked “ending 12 of 12” with a “new” tag, carries a NEW! label, and reads “the park stopped watching the news and started watching the newsroom.” Your endings counter goes up by one, and the card offers PLAY AGAIN or MENU so you can head straight into a different route.
