Quick answer: All four petals are in the Crimson Forest: petal I in a pocket below the rope bridge by the Thieves’ Camp, petal II in a cave below the camp, petal III near the Lakeside Arch Bridge bell and petal IV below Cliffside Lodge.
You can collect the petals in any order. Collecting all four raises HP by 7%.
| Petal | Nearest bell and distance | Note |
|---|---|---|
| I. The Handwritten Order | Thieves’ Camp, about 95 m in a straight line | The way out is a grapple up from a broken plank ramp, then about 127 m back to the bell |
| II. Corruption or Cowardice? | Thieves’ Camp, about 193 m on foot through the gully | A sandbag wall closes off the camp-floor edge above the cave |
| III. A Newfound Power | Lakeside Arch Bridge, about 60 m on foot | A crossbow trap covers the rim corridor on the way in from the Thieves’ Camp |
| IV. The Means to Resist | Cliffside Lodge, about 51 m to a 40-rung ladder | The way back up runs through the storehouse cellar |
Petal I: The Handwritten Order
Petal I, The Handwritten Order, lies in a bed of blue flowers next to a gravestone and a small wooden fence. It sits in a small pocket below the rope bridge at the edge of the Thieves’ Camp, about 95 m from the Thieves’ Camp bell in a straight line.

In our run, the way out went from the flower along the pocket floor to the foot of a broken wooden plank ramp, where a grapple prompt showed on a ring above the top of the ramp.

In our run, the grapple pulled Soul up onto the camp level, and the Thieves’ Camp bell was about 127 m on foot from there. The Hunter’s Chain Sickle card says it grapples “even when not equipped”, and it was not equipped in our run.
In the memory, an Indignant Mandate Disciple reads a decree and says “So that’s it… Two of the Pillars of Kunlun are gone. Yuyin and Moji were both driven from the battlefield…”, and a Composed Mandate Disciple answers “Excellent… truly excellent! If this Perfect Transcension plan succeeds, we may still be able to turn everything around!”

Petal II, Corruption or Cowardice?, sits in a cave at the bottom of the gully beneath the Thieves’ Camp, surrounded by hanging bodies and clay jars. A sandbag wall blocks access from the camp floor overhead.

In our run, the way went from the Thieves’ Camp bell through the camp to its far end, down a slope into the gully, along the gully floor and into the cave, about 193 m in all.

In our run, bandits held the camp on the way through, among them a Firethorn Thief who threw firebombs from range.
In the memory, a Stern Mandate Disciple accuses a Furtive Mandate Disciple of fleeing the battle, and he answers “A true man neither clings to life nor fears death! But Perfect Transcension? To become a Maskwalker? Never!”

Petal III: A Newfound Power
Look for Petal III, A Newfound Power, in blue flowers at the cliff’s edge overlooking the lake. The Lakeside Arch Bridge bell is about 47 m away in a straight line.

In our run, the way in went from the Thieves’ Camp bell down the slope past the cave prison pit and along the narrow rim corridor beyond it. Stepping off the path into the pit hole drops you to the pit floor, and the ladder out of the pit is on its wall.
A crossbow trap covers the rim corridor and starts firing bolts down it once you step onto the corridor. In our run, walking into the bolts was fatal twice. Sprinting along the ledge toward the crossbow with Bastion, the shield, raised got through with no damage.

In our run, past the crossbow the way went on along the lake shore to the cliff edge, where a Horse Bandit on horseback guarded the spot and took about 70 seconds on Pathbreaker.
In our run, the Lakeside Arch Bridge bell was about 60 m on foot from the flower, so after ringing it the bell is the way back to this spot.
In the memory, a Concerned Mandate Disciple warns “Junior Sister, can’t you see it? Ever since undergoing Perfect Transcension, you’ve turned more violent by the day!”, and the Deranged Mandate Disciple answers “Silence! You’re just jealous of my power!”

Petal IV: The Means to Resist
In the low yard beneath Cliffside Lodge, find Petal IV, The Means to Resist, in a cave corner beside a pile of bodies, beneath a torch.

In our run, the way went from the Cliffside Lodge bell about 51 m to a 40-rung ladder at the cliff edge, down the ladder, through an open wooden doorway and along the low path into the yard. There was no fight; a Butcher stood off to the side of the path and never joined in.

In our run, the way back up went through the storehouse cellar under Cliffside Lodge and up its wooden stairs to the bell.
In the memory, an Indignant Baishan Disciple says “And Perfect Transcension isn’t some forbidden art. There’s no danger of losing control”, and an Upright Baishan Disciple answers “So be it! Better our cause perish with honor than survive in disgrace!”

Reward for all four petals
Each petal card shows how many of the four you hold, for example “(2/4) Collect all Memory Remnants to increase HP +7%”.
With the fourth petal collected, the Memory Flower: On Perfect Transcension (one of the sets in the Memory Flowers guide) is complete. Its card displays all four petals filled, the text “All Memory Remnants collected”, and +7%.
The petals can be taken in any order; in our run petal II came first, then IV, III and I.
The other memory flowers, keys and chests of the region are in the Crimson Forest collectibles guide, and the bells named here are in the bells guide.
