Rohan (Mystic) is the standout unit from the final Universal Festival update in Universal Tower Defense X, and its endgame form, Blanco Beast, is built directly on Beast Gohan from Dragon Ball. It starts at Secret rarity and climbs to Boundless once fully evolved, turning into a damage carry that stacks critical damage on every kill and fires an active that hits every enemy on the map, bosses included. Alongside Merciless God and Angel Born in Hell, it has pushed straight to the front of the current meta.

Quick answer: Clear the Blanco Beast Tear to roll Rohan (Mystic) at a 4% drop chance, with a guaranteed unlock at 25 completions. Then evolve it twice through the Evolutions NPC using Tear-exclusive items to reach Blanco Beast.

How to get Rohan (Mystic) from the Blanco Beast Tear

Rohan (Mystic) only comes from the Blanco Beast Tear. Tears are late-game content that work much like portals, except the boss and rewards rotate every three hours. There are three active versions right now: The Blanco Beast Tear, The Strongest Of Today Tear, and The Strongest Of All Time Tear. You need the Blanco Beast one specifically.

Up to five players can party together and run the Tear for rewards. Finishing it gives a 4% chance to drop Rohan (Mystic), and the pity counter sits at 25 runs, so a full unlock is guaranteed after 25 clears even if luck never lands.

During the run, you pick one of three buff cards every five waves. On Wave 20, the Rohan boss appears across four phases, moving from Base Rohan to Super Saiyan Rohan, then Mystic Rohan, and finally Blanco Beast. Beating the agile Blanco Beast phase rewards your team with buffs, while losing the clash saddles your units with several debuffs.

Rohan (Mystic) evolution requirements

Rohan (Mystic) has two evolution steps. First it becomes Rohan (Ultimate), then Blanco Beast. Both are handled at the Evolutions NPC, and several of the materials come back to the same Tear you used to unlock the base unit.

Rohan (Ultimate) materials

ItemAmountWhere to get it
Universal Fragment3Merchant, Virtual Merchant, Shinobi Alliance Shop, or Ragnarok Shop
Holy Fragment6Legend Stages or Challenges
Frozen Fragment10Legend Stages or Challenges
Ultimate Sword5Blanco Beast Tear (8% drop, pity 20 runs)
Gold25,000Completing levels in any mode

Hold onto your Ultimate Swords after this step, because the second evolution asks for more of them.

The Boundless Orb and Ultimate Glasses are the rarest pieces in the chain. Both come from the Tear, with the Orb at a 5% chance and the Glasses slightly rarer at 4%, each backed by a 40-run pity.

Blanco Beast passives and active ability

Blanco Beast is a pure DPS unit that gets stronger the longer a wave runs. A build with the Ruler Trait, SSS grades across all stats, and accessories rolling critical damage and damage turns it into a clear-everything carry, especially next to other Saiyan units like Merciless God and Angel Born in Hell.

Unrestrained Power

  • Gains 7% of the total Damage of every unit you own within its range, stacking up to 100% Damage.
  • After being stunned or hit with a debuff, gains +30% Critical Rate and +30% AOE Size for 20 seconds.

Overwhelming Force

  • When its Damage exceeds an enemy’s Health, the leftover Damage spills onto surrounding enemies.
  • Each kill grants +10% Critical Damage, stacking up to 50%. After Etherealization 2, the cap rises to 75%.

Wrath of the Beast

  • Triggers when any ally is debuffed or when Blanco Beast is stunned.
  • Grants 100% Damage and 30% Hyper Damage for 20 seconds. The Damage portion rises to 150% after Etherealization 6.
  • Every Base Stock lost adds +75% Damage, up to a 300% limit.

Super Blue Beam (Active Ability)

  • Deals 300% Damage to every enemy on the map as a guaranteed Critical Hit, on a 120-second cooldown.
  • After Etherealization 4, the hit increases to 400% Damage map-wide, still as a guaranteed Critical Hit.

You will know the unlock landed when Rohan (Mystic) shows up in your inventory after a Tear clear, either from the 4% roll or the moment you hit 25 completions. From there, the Evolutions NPC will let you confirm each evolution once you have gathered every listed material, so the cleanest path is to keep running the Blanco Beast Tear until your Ultimate Swords, Boundless Orb, and Ultimate Glasses are all in hand before spending Gold on the upgrades.
