Devil Fruits are the beating heart of combat in Haze Seas, the One Piece-inspired Roblox adventure where you sail between islands, battle bosses and hunt for the rarest powers in the game. Eating a Devil Fruit permanently swaps your fighting style for a brand-new elemental or beast-based moveset, so choosing the right one has a huge impact on how you grind, how you fight other players and how quickly you can clear the game’s toughest superbosses.
In this guide we cover every Devil Fruit currently in Haze Seas — how each one works, its full moveset with keybinds and unlock requirements, its rarity, and where it lands on our tier list. We’ve grouped the fruits from Common all the way up to the coveted Mythical bracket so you can see exactly what you’re working toward. Whether you just started sailing or you’re chasing a Gear 5 awakening, this is your complete reference.
How Devil Fruits Work in Haze Seas
Fruits spawn under any tree around the map, including on boss islands. On public servers a fruit spawns roughly every 60 minutes and despawns 20 minutes after appearing, so you have a limited window to grab one before it vanishes. VIP servers follow the same timing but stop spawning fruits once five have appeared until the server restarts.
Eating a fruit comes with one universal downside: all Devil Fruit users lose the ability to swim and take damage while submerged in water, so keep an eye on the sea during island-hopping. Each move also has its own cooldown — as a rule of thumb, Z is 6 seconds, X is 7, C is 8, V is 9 and B is 10, while your E move has no fixed change (fly skills are exempt from these cooldowns).
Devil Fruit Types Explained
Fruits fall into three classic categories. Paramecia fruits (like Bomb, Gravity or Gum) grant superhuman abilities without turning you into an element. Zoan fruits (like Mammoth, Buddha, Leopard and Dragon) let you transform into a beast form for extra bulk and rushdown power. Logia fruits are the rarest and strongest defensively — users can turn their body into a natural element, and enemies need Buso (Armament) Haki to land hits on them. Note that the Logia intangibility only works when you are at least 5 levels above the target NPC, and it never works on boss-level enemies.

Below is our current tier list ranking every obtainable Devil Fruit by overall strength across grinding and PvP. S+ covers the Mythical powerhouses, while C holds the starter-tier Common fruits you’ll want to replace quickly. Remember that player skill, mastery level and your build can shift these rankings — a well-played A-tier fruit will always beat a poorly-played S-tier one.
| Tier | Devil Fruits |
|---|---|
| S+ | Gum, Electricity, Dragon, Dragon – Full Form, Dough |
| S | Magnet, Phoenix, Darkness, Tremor, Wolf, Magma, Soul, Leopard, Venom |
| A | Gas, Gravity, Flame, Shadow, Light, Operation, Ice, Love |
| B | Paw, Smoke, Sand, String, Mammoth, Buddha, Snow |
| C | Vanish, Spin, Spike, Bomb, Barrier, Circus |
S+ tier fruits are the Mythical bracket — Gum, Electricity, Dragon and Dough — and they carry the highest ceilings in the game once fully mastered. S tier collects the Legendary fruits, which are strong enough to take you through nearly all of the endgame. A tier Rare fruits are the sweet spot for most players: powerful, far more common than Legendaries, and excellent value. B tier Uncommons are reliable mid-game picks, and C tier Commons are best treated as temporary grinding tools.
Common Devil Fruits
Vanish — Mobility / evasion

Rarity: Common | Tier: C
Vanish is one of the starter-tier fruits, built entirely around teleport-style repositioning and clone mistakes. It won’t carry you in a serious PvP fight, but the free Phantom Step blink and Ghost Walk make it a comfortable movement pick for early grinding and running from bosses.
Vanish moveset:
| Key | Move | Effect | Requirement |
|---|---|---|---|
| Z | Phantom Step | — | Mastery 0 |
| X | Vanish Rock | — | Mastery 25 |

| X | Wind Shredder | — | Mastery 25 |
| C | Spinning Cyclone | — | Mastery 50 |

How to Get Devil Fruits in Haze Seas
There are two main ways to add a fruit to your arsenal. The first is finding them in the wild — fruits physically spawn under trees around every island on their hourly timer, and anyone can walk up and eat an unclaimed fruit. The second is buying from the Fruit Dealer NPC (Cynthia), who sells and rotates fruits for in-game currency, letting you skip the wait if you’ve saved up enough. Keep some Beli in reserve so you can snap up a Legendary or Mythical the moment it appears in her stock.
If you’re chasing a specific high-rarity fruit, server-hopping during spawn windows and keeping the Fruit Notifier gamepass active will dramatically improve your odds. Store fruits you aren’t using rather than eating them immediately, since holding a rare fruit lets you trade or eat it later without losing your current power.
Unreleased & Upcoming Devil Fruits
The developers have teased several fruits that aren’t obtainable yet, including Okuchi, Saturn and a Dragon Hybrid form. These are listed as unobtainable placeholders on the official board, so expect them to arrive in future updates. We’ll refresh this guide with full movesets and tier placements as soon as they go live.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Devil Fruit in Haze Seas?
The Mythical fruits — Gum (especially at Gear 5), Dragon, Electricity and Dough — sit at the top of the tier list. Among the more attainable options, Legendary fruits like Magma, Tremor and Phoenix offer near-top-tier performance without needing the rarest drops.
Do you lose your Devil Fruit when you die?
No — once you eat a fruit, the power stays with you permanently until you choose to reset it. However, an unclaimed fruit lying on the ground will despawn 20 minutes after it appears, so grab it quickly.
Can you swim with a Devil Fruit?
No. Every Devil Fruit user loses the ability to swim and takes damage while submerged, so be careful around water when travelling between islands.
How do Logia fruits work?
Logia users can turn their body into a natural element, making them immune to normal attacks from enemies more than five levels below them. Opponents need Buso (Armament) Haki to land hits, and the immunity does not apply against boss-level NPCs.
All Devil Fruit stats, movesets and media are based on the official Haze Seas Trello board and are accurate as of the latest update. Powers and tier placements may change as the game receives balance patches.
