John Pork is the fifth OG brainrot in Steal a Brainrot, and getting one is deliberately painful. He only appears during a rare ringing event, sits behind a $500 billion price tag when he shows up, and can be yanked out of another player’s base if you are fast enough. There are only around 14 in the entire game, so treat every spawn as a one-shot chance.
Quick answer: Wait for John Pork’s event (a phone ringing sound), then buy him off the conveyor for $500B, or steal him from another player’s base after the owner has already bought him. The event only fires three times across all servers total, and one of those already happened at the May 2 launch update.
John Pork stats and rarity
John Pork sits in the OG tier, the rarest and most expensive rank in the game. His base income is strong but not the highest among OGs. The real value comes from his event and his exclusive trait rather than raw cash per second.
| John Pork | Rarity | Cost | Income |
|---|---|---|---|
![]() | OG | $500B | $500M/sec |
For context, Strawberry Elephant pulls $750M/s, Meowl earns $600M/s, and Skibidi Toilet makes $450M/s. So John Pork’s $500M/s base is mid-pack for an OG. What sets him apart is the trait that can push him to roughly $3.7B/s.

Add to Google Preferences →The John Pork event: why timing is everything
John Pork does not spawn on demand. He only becomes available during his event, and that event is capped at three occurrences across every server in the game. The first one already ran with the May 2 update, which leaves very few chances remaining.
The event is announced by a distinct phone ringing sound. When it starts, a giant phone icon bearing John Pork’s face appears over the cave area, and the map briefly shifts to a call-screen scene with a red Decline button and a green Answer button. He spawns only once during the event, so the moment you hear the ring, you need to be ready.
No official date or time for the next event is currently confirmed. The developers keep the schedule hidden on purpose to protect his rarity. Many players watch Admin Abuse windows and Taco Tuesdays closely, since those active-server moments are the most likely times for the event to fire.
Method 1: Buy John Pork from the conveyor
This is the direct route. During his event, John Pork rides the conveyor belt (Red Carpet) and you can purchase him outright, but only if your wallet is loaded and your base has room.
You know it worked when he lands on a pad in your base and starts generating $500M/s (or far more if he carries the trait).
Method 2: Steal John Pork from another base
If you miss the event, you can still take John Pork off someone else who already owns him. This costs no cash, but it is high-risk and never guaranteed.
Once he is placed and your base is locked, he is yours. Remember the reverse is also true, so keep your base locked at all times or someone will do the same to you.
Method 3: Trade for John Pork
Once copies enter the open market, straight player-to-player trades become an option. Expect to hand over an OG-tier brainrot as collateral, or a bundle of items worth roughly the same.
Two things matter before you accept a deal. First, check whether the John Pork on offer carries the trait, because a traited copy is worth dramatically more than a plain one. Second, do not overpay during the peak of the update hype, when sellers routinely ask for too much. If you already own Strawberry Elephant or Meowl, think twice before swapping either away for a plain John Pork.
The “Is Calling” trait and its 7.5x boost
John Pork’s trait is the whole reason he is chased so hard. While his event is active, random brainrots have a small chance to gain the “Is Calling” trait, which applies a 7.5x income multiplier. On John Pork’s own $500M/s base, that lifts his output to about $3.7B/s.

The trait does something no other brainrot has ever done. It rewrites the affected character’s name, adding the “Is Calling…” suffix, and two buttons (one red, one green) appear in front of it. It can also stack with other traits. Because the event is so rare, a traited copy tends to hold the top of the trading market for a long time.
Preparation checklist before the event
| Preparation | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Keep $500B+ cash ready | You need enough to buy him the instant he spawns |
| Leave one base slot open | A full base forces a panic sell and loses the spawn |
| Base near the conveyor start | Shortens his travel time, giving you more seconds to react |
| Watch the live spawn board | Confirms whether the rare spawn is actually happening |
| Play during boosted luck | 10x, 12x, or 15x luck windows give the best OG odds |
The whole approach is decided before the ring ever sounds. Line up your cash, your slot, and your position, then decide in advance what you would trade or sell, because if you hesitate during the spawn you have already lost it. John Pork traces back to the 2018 @john.pork Instagram meme, and his inclusion was officially cleared with the account holder, but none of that history helps you catch him. Fast money, an open slot, and good timing do.
