The exact crafting recipe, base weapon source, and full V2 moveset for the Golden Staff in Haze Seas.

The exact crafting recipe, base weapon source, and full V2 moveset for the Golden Staff in Haze Seas.

The Golden Staff V2 is a crafted lightning weapon in Haze Seas, the Roblox anime pirate game by Haze Studios. You cannot loot it directly from a boss. Instead, you upgrade the base Golden Staff into its V2 form at a forge NPC once you meet the mastery and material requirements.

Quick answer: Take a Golden Staff V1 at 300 Mastery, plus 1 Raijin Core and $2,000,000, to Doran the Forge in Sea 3 and craft the Golden Staff V2 there.

Golden Staff V2 crafting requirements

Everything needed to forge the V2 comes down to three things: the base staff at full mastery, a rare material, and cash. The forge NPC handles the rest.

Cash$2,000,000

Note: The V1 staff is consumed and upgraded during crafting, so the 300 Mastery must be reached before you speak to Doran. Grinding that mastery is usually the longest part of the process.

Get the base Golden Staff first

You need the Golden Staff V1 before any V2 crafting can begin. It is a rare drop from the Thunder God boss on Sky Island, and the drop rate is 1%. Expect to defeat the boss several times before it appears.

The Thunder God fights with lightning strikes and heavy area-of-effect attacks, so bring high single-target damage and keep moving to avoid his AoE. Farming in a group or with drop rate boosts speeds up the grind considerably.

The base staff also carries a +10% damage buff when paired with the Electricity Fruit, and this synergy stays relevant once you upgrade. You can jump into the game and start farming through the official Roblox platform.

Craft the Golden Staff V2 at Doran the Forge

Raise your Golden Staff V1 to 300 Mastery. Keep the staff equipped and land hits with its skills and basic attacks until the mastery bar hits the cap.
Secure 1 Raijin Core and confirm you have $2,000,000 in your balance. Both are spent during the upgrade.
Travel to Sea 3 and find Doran the Forge. This is the only NPC that performs the upgrade.
Interact with Doran and select the Golden Staff V2 craft. The V1 staff is converted into the V2 version, and your Raijin Core and cash are consumed in the process.

You will know it worked when the Golden Staff V2 appears in your inventory in place of the V1 and its new skill set becomes available. If the craft option is greyed out, the most common cause is not reaching 300 Mastery on the V1, missing the Raijin Core, or being short on the $2,000,000 cost.

Golden Staff V2 moveset and mastery unlocks

The V2 starts with one skill and unlocks the rest as you build mastery on the new weapon. All three abilities are lightning-based.

Electron Orbs50

Storm Surge is available the moment you craft the staff, so you can use it immediately. Thunder Shower and Electron Orbs unlock as your V2 mastery climbs past 25 and 50.

Pairing the staff with the Electricity Fruit

The Golden Staff is built around lightning, and its damage buff applies to Electricity Fruit skills rather than to every Devil Fruit. If you run the staff with another fruit, you keep its sword moves but lose the bonus synergy damage.

When you trigger the Electricity Fruit’s God of Lightning transformation, your character grows in size and switches to the fruit’s awakened moveset. You cannot swing the staff during this state, but its passive damage boost keeps applying to your lightning skills in the background.

The staff itself draws its design from Enel and the Skypiea arc, which is why every part of its kit leans into lightning. Once the V2 is in hand and its mastery skills are unlocked, it slots directly into any Electricity Fruit build for both boss farming and PvP.
