Devil Fruits are the core of every build in Haze Seas, the Roblox pirate action RPG from Haze Studios. There are 35 of them, and how you obtain, keep, and switch a fruit depends on three separate systems: natural spawns, the Fruit Dealer, and the fruit storage NPCs. Knowing how each one behaves saves you Gems, Cash, and a lot of standing around waiting for a fruit to appear.
Quick answer: Grab a fruit by waiting for a natural spawn (one every 60 minutes, gone 20 minutes later), buying a spin from the Fruit Dealer Cynthia, or claiming one from Sea Events, playtime rewards, or the free-fruit chest. Bank spare fruits with the Fruit Archivist, and change your active fruit through Doctor White in Logue City.
How Devil Fruit spawns work
Fruits appear on their own around the map on a fixed timer. Once a fruit spawns, you have a short window to reach and grab it before it disappears. The numbers are the same on every public server, and VIP servers have their own limit.
| Spawn detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Spawn interval | Every 60 minutes (1 hour) |
| Despawn window | 20 minutes after the fruit spawns |
| VIP server behavior | Fruits still spawn, capped at 5 |
Because a spawned fruit sits on the ground unclaimed, other players can take it first. If you want a specific fruit without the wait, the Fruit Dealer and the fruit-swap systems below give you more control.

There are several routes to a fruit, and they differ by cost and reliability. Natural spawns are free but unpredictable. The dealer costs currency but lets you spin on demand. Free rewards depend on playtime and group membership.
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Natural spawn | A fruit appears on the map every 60 minutes and lasts 20 minutes. |
| Fruit Dealer (Cynthia) | Spin for a random fruit using Cash, Gems, or Robux. |
| Sea Events | In-world events that can reward a fruit. |
| Free-fruit chest | Like, favorite, and join the group to claim a starter fruit. |
| Playtime (AFK) rewards | Timed gift boxes that can include a Legendary Fruit. |
The 35 fruits include Okuchi, Wolf, Vanish, Circus, Spin, Spike, Bomb, Barrier, Paw, Smoke, Sand, String, Mammoth, Buddha, Snow, Tremor, Gas, Gravity, Flame, Shadow, Light, Operation, Ice, Electricity, Magma, Love, Gum, Darkness, Magnet, Phoenix, Soul, Leopard, Venom, Dragon, and Dough.

Buy and spin at the Fruit Dealer Cynthia
Cynthia is the Devil Fruit merchant. You can find her on the Starter Island and in Logue City in Sea 1. She sells fruits directly and runs the Devil Fruit gacha, which is the fastest way to roll for a fruit whenever you have the currency.
Note: Race Spins are a separate system from fruit spins. Shapeshifter Mimiko in Flower Capital sells Race Spins for Gems, and several active codes such as OKUCHI and HAZESEAS2026 hand out Race Spins rather than fruits.

Claim the free starter fruit
New captains can grab a fruit at no cost near the tavern on the Level 1 Starter Island. The reward is tied to three quick account actions.

Store spare fruits with the Fruit Archivist
If you pick up a fruit you don’t want to eat yet, hand it to the Fruit Archivist for safekeeping. This NPC lets you bank fruits so they don’t sit in your bag or get lost when you eat a different one.
| NPC | Location | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Fruit Archivist | Sea 2: Snowy Graveyard · Sea 3: Land of the Gods | Store up to 5 Devil Fruits; unlock slots with Gems |
| Archivist of Bloodlines | Sea 2: Snowy Graveyard · Sea 3: Land of the Gods | Store up to 5 Races; unlock slots with Gems |
Both storage NPCs start with limited space, and you spend Gems to open additional slots. Keeping a fruit in storage protects it while you experiment with another one on your active build.
Remove or swap your active fruit with Doctor White
You can only have one Devil Fruit powering your character at a time. To change it, you first remove the one you currently have. Doctor White in Logue City handles this.

How to confirm it worked
When you eat a fruit, your character transforms, and the fruit’s moveset appears in the bottom-right skill bar, mapped to keys such as F, C, X, and Z. For example, eating the Barrier fruit unlocks Prism Mobility, Reflective Barrage, Hexa Spikes, and Pulse Dome, each with its own level cap. Seeing those moves populate is your confirmation the fruit is active.
Storing works when the fruit shows up in the Archivist’s slot list rather than your bag. Removing works when your character loses the fruit’s transformation and moves, freeing you to eat a new one. If a spin or claim fails, the usual reasons are not having enough currency for the spin cost, missing the Like, Favorite, or Group step on the free reward, or a storage attempt with no open slots left to unlock.
Managed together, these systems let you farm fruits on the spawn timer, gamble for a specific one at Cynthia, bank the extras with the Archivist, and reshuffle your active power through Doctor White whenever the meta or your build changes.
