Electro V2 is the awakened form of the Electro fighting style in Haze Seas, turning its blue lightning into high-voltage yellow and unlocking a faster, harder-hitting moveset. To reach it you first need the base Electro style, then enough style mastery and the right awakening materials to convert it with the Sage of Combat.
Quick answer: Grind Electro to Mastery 300, then bring 2× Raijin’s Core and 500 Gems to the Sage of Combat in Sea 3 and pay the awakening fee to unlock Electro V2 and the “Thunderlord” title.

Electro V2 requirements in Haze Seas
The evolution has three gates. You must own the base Electro style, push its mastery high enough, and hand over the awakening materials at the correct NPC. If any one of these is missing, the upgrade will not trigger.
| Requirement | What you need |
|---|---|
| Base style | Electro V1 (purchased from the Electro trainer) |
| Mastery | 300 with the Electro style |
| Awakening item | 2× Raijin’s Core |
| Currency | 500 Gems |
| NPC | Sage of Combat, located in Sea 3 |

You cannot awaken a style you do not own. The base Electro moveset comes from a trainer on the first island, and buying it is the entry point for the whole progression.
Tip: Fighting styles scale off your Melee stat, so invest stat points into Melee and keep clearing low-level island mobs to build mastery quickly.

Evolve Electro to V2
Once mastery hits 300 and you are holding 2× Raijin’s Core plus 500 Gems, the awakening is a single interaction with the Sage of Combat.

How to know the awakening worked
The evolution is confirmed by three visible changes. Your lightning effects shift from blue to a bright yellow, your Electro moveset is replaced with the upgraded V2 skills, and you earn the “Thunderlord” title. If you still see blue sparks and the old moves, the conversion did not complete.
The most common reasons the upgrade fails to trigger are simple to check. Electro mastery is below 300, you are short of the 500 Gems, or you are missing one of the two Raijin’s Cores. Fix whichever is missing and speak to the Sage of Combat again.

Electro V2 moveset
V2 does more than raise your damage. It swaps in a new set of active skills built around speed, stuns, and area damage.
| Key | Move | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Z | Electrifying Tackle | A very fast dash that blitzes through opponents and stuns them, leaving a trail of yellow sparks. |
| X | Electro Thunder Clap | A large lightning strike from above that deals heavy area damage and breaks guards. |
| C | Lightning Beast Barrage | A rapid flurry of electric strikes ending in a giant lightning wolf that knocks enemies away. |
To get the most out of these moves, turn on Armament Haki before engaging, since it adds a flat damage multiplier to every Electro hit. Because Electrifying Tackle has a forgiving hitbox, you can open with it, dash-cancel the ending animation, and chain straight into Electro Thunder Clap before an opponent recovers.
