If you want your Dragon-type Pal to hit harder in Palworld, the boost comes from an accessory you wear, not one you attach to the Pal. Several accessories in the 1.0 release raise the Dragon damage dealt by whichever Pal is fighting alongside you, and picking the right one depends on how much of an increase you want and what else you need that slot to do.
Quick answer: Equip the Elphidran Ring or the Jetragon’s Talisman to significantly increase the Dragon damage of the Pal fighting with you. The Dragon Support Whistle gives a smaller boost and is easier to obtain early.
Accessories that raise Dragon damage
Three accessories directly affect Dragon damage output for your active Pal. Each one applies to the Pal fighting with you, so you keep the accessory on your character and swap Pals freely underneath it.

The Dragon Support Whistle is a smaller bump, but it drops as a Common item and is a reasonable stopgap until you find an Epic option.
Note: none of these change how much Dragon damage your Pal takes. If you need protection against Dragon attacks instead, that is the job of the Ring of Dragon Resistance or the Cryolinx Ring, which reduce incoming Dragon damage rather than boosting your own.
How the damage boost applies
These accessories modify the Pal that is actively deployed and fighting with you. The buff follows your character through the accessory slot, so it stays in effect as long as the accessory is equipped and a Pal is out. The size of the increase depends on which accessory you use, with the Epic items delivering a much larger jump than the Common whistle.
Final on-screen damage still depends on the Pal’s skill power, the target’s Defense, and elemental matchups, so the number you see against one enemy will not match another. The accessory raises the underlying Dragon damage; the rest of the combat math runs on top of it.

Accessories and their blueprints come from exploration and combat rather than a single vendor. The Epic Dragon items sit at the rarer end, so expect to dig into tougher content to find them.
- Ancient Remnants: New 1.0 structures marked by a beam of light. Their center console holds loot that often includes an accessory blueprint, but you must first clear a short puzzle or defeat a guardian Pal.
- Dungeon chests: A steady source of accessories and blueprints. Rarer accessories require higher-level dungeons.
- Alpha bosses and Lucky Pals: Field bosses (large Pal and health bars) and the rarer glistening Lucky Pals can drop loot and blueprints, including accessories.
- Field chests: Found while exploring. Red-glowing locked chests hold better loot, so carry keys or craft the lockpick upgrade.
Free up an accessory slot
You start with only two accessory slots, which forces a choice between a damage accessory and something like resistance or mobility. You can add more slots by spending Dog Coins at the Medal Merchant. The first slot upgrade costs 50 Dog Coins, so farming coins early lets you keep a Dragon-damage accessory equipped without giving up your other utility item.
For a dedicated Dragon build, the strongest setup is one Epic Dragon accessory in a slot you keep permanently equipped, with the second slot reserved for whatever the fight demands. Against Dark-heavy enemies, the Elphidran Ring covers both offense and defense in a single slot; when you simply want your Dragon Pal to survive and keep swinging, the Jetragon’s Talisman is the safer pick.
