Neverness to Everness Iroi Banner Release Date and 1.2 Phase 2 Events

Iroi's "The Lifeline" board goes live July 29 and runs through August 19, alongside a full slate of 999 Nights events.

Iroi’s “The Lifeline” board goes live July 29 and runs through August 19, alongside a full slate of 999 Nights events.

Iroi is the second limited S-Class character in Neverness to Everness Version 1.2, and her banner opens the second half of the “999 Nights” update. She is an Anima healer and buffer whose kit combines team-wide healing, damage buffs, and a revive mechanic, so most Cosmos carries built during the first half of 1.2 will slot her in directly.

Quick answer: Iroi’s limited board “The Lifeline” goes live on July 29, 2026 after maintenance, with the Phase 2 update starting around 11:00 (UTC+8). The board stays open until August 19, 2026 at 05:59 (UTC+8).

Iroi banner release date and schedule

Status: Confirmed. Iroi headlines Phase 2 of Version 1.2, which begins on July 29, 2026 right after the maintenance that closes Shinku’s board. Her limited board runs for 21 days, the same length as the first-half banner.

Full details for Phase 2 are posted on the official Neverness to Everness site. Once the update installs and you can view The Lifeline board in the gacha menu, the banner is live and you can start pulling with Annuliths and Dice.

How pity carries over from Shinku

Iroi’s board opens immediately after Shinku’s “Before the Dawn” board closes during the July 29 maintenance. Limited character boards in Neverness to Everness share a single pity count, so any progress you built on Shinku’s board carries directly into Iroi’s instead of resetting.

The game also skips the standard 50/50 mechanic. Banner progression guarantees the featured S-Class character with no off-banner losses, capping at 90-pull hard pity. If you did not finish pulling for Shinku, that accumulated count is a head start toward Iroi.

Iroi’s signature Arc

Iroi’s signature is The Wrong Gate, an S-Class Liquid Arc. It runs on its own limited Arc banner alongside The Lifeline for the full length of Phase 2, from July 29 to August 19, 2026. The Arc is obtained through the Dreamgate Special Arc Research Program by spending Tri-Keys or Resolve Keys.

What Iroi does

Iroi is a sustain-focused Anima support who serves in the Bureau of Anomaly Control’s CSU-2 division alongside Shinku and Mint. Her value comes from keeping the team alive while boosting overall damage, which makes her a natural partner for Cosmos DPS like Shinku in Charge and Blossom compositions.

What comes after Iroi’s banner

Iroi’s board and Version 1.2 both close on August 19, 2026. Version 1.3 is expected to follow shortly after, continuing the game’s roughly six-week cycle and introducing Zankou as an Incantation S-Class unit alongside a new Anima character, Linko. If you plan to pull Iroi, complete the Phase 2 events above before the August 19 cutoff to gather the last of your currency.
