Once your Aion 2 character sits at 1,600 gear score, the climb to 2,100 stops being about chasing fresh armor drops and becomes a stacking exercise. Arcana cards from Transcendence do most of the heavy lifting, a steady supply of Odyle Energy keeps your Expeditions running, and a single transmuted Gold Chalice tips you over the line. Hitting 2,100 opens Ferocious Horn Den and Fire Temple, so it is the gate worth planning around.
Quick answer: Clear Transcendence Stage 1 at 1,600 for a green Arcana in every slot, farm Stage 2 at 1,900 to swap them for blue cards, keep core gear at +10, then transmute a Gold Chalice of Vigor using 5 Mysterious Crystals for roughly +80 gear score.
What you need before pushing to 2,100
Gear score decides which content you can enter, and combat power decides how fast you clear it. For 2,100-tier content you want combat power of roughly 90,000 or higher so bosses do not one-shot you. A reference setup at 2,107 gear score runs around 96,654 combat power, which gives you a sense of the ratio you are aiming for.
Before you start stacking, your major armor pieces and weapon should be at +10, ideally on gold-quality gear where you have it. Accessories can sit lower, anywhere from +3 to +10, and still carry you. From there the bracket is about three things working together: Arcana cards, a continuous Odyle Energy supply, and the Gold Chalice transmute.

The two Transcendence dungeons, Shattered Arkanis and Deus Research Base, run on staged gear score requirements. Each stage you clear unlocks a better card tier, so knowing the thresholds tells you exactly when a dungeon opens up and when it is worth returning to.
| Dungeon | Bosses | Required gear score by stage | Players |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shattered Arkanis | Siliator of Deceit, Ruthilis of Pain, Talisra of the Void (Lv. 56) | 1,600 / 1,900 / 2,200 / 2,500 | 2–4 or 2–5 |
| Deus Research Base | Atiel, Nazmun, Gelcos (Lv. 45) | 1,600 / 1,900 / 2,200 / 2,500 | 2–4 or 2–5 |
Both dungeons also have a 20 percent chance to drop an Amplify Stone Fragment from their final bosses, which you will want later for pushing gear past +15. For the 1,600 to 2,100 bracket, though, the Arcana cards are the reason you run them.
Farm Arcana cards in Transcendence
Arcana cards slot into their own menu and each one adds gear score directly. Fill every slot, even with lower-rarity cards, before you worry about perfect stats, because the gear score from a filled slot matters more than its roll at this stage.
At 1,600 gear score, run Stage 1 of both Shattered Arkanis and Deus Research Base. Stage 1 drops green Arcana cards, and the goal is simple: get a green card into every slot. Between the two dungeons you cover Chalice, Mirror, Parchment, Bell, and Compass card types.
Once you reach 1,900 gear score, switch to Stage 2 of both dungeons. Stage 2 carries a chance to drop blue Arcana cards, which are the upgrade over your greens. Keep farming until every slot holds at least a green, then replace them with blues as they come.

Going from a full set of greens to a full set of blues is worth a meaningful chunk of gear score on its own, and it needs no new armor drops. If you are short on points near 2,000, chasing the last few blue cards is usually faster than grinding a weapon.
Keep Odyle Energy flowing for Expeditions
Every run in top-tier Expeditions like Urugugu Canyon and Vakron Sky Island spends Odyle Energy. These trips provide replacement armor and Kina, while replacing an old blue piece with a gold Vakron-tier piece adds 20 to 30 gear score and an extra manastone slot. Running out of Odyle Energy halts progress through the bracket, so protect your weekly supply.

For free-to-play players, the most reliable source is the Substance Morph menu, which has a weekly recipe that crafts bound Odyle Energy under its Special recipes. Make this your first stop each week. The Breeze Merchant and Subscription Shop also sell Odyle Energy up to weekly limits if you want more.

For the record, a single Odyle Energy item recharges 40, and a Small Odyle Energy recharges 10. Both are bound and usable from level 20, so stockpiling them across a reset is fine.
Collect 5 Mysterious Crystals
Transmuting a Gold Chalice needs 5 Mysterious Crystals, and there is no single fast source. You pull them together from three places.
- Buy up to 2 from the Season 1 Shop, under the Growth tab, using season currency.
- Break down extra Arcana cards through Arcana Extract; when the meter reaches 100 percent, you receive 1 Mysterious Crystal.
- Complete the Tower of Trials Season Challenge steps, which award Mysterious Crystals.
The Tower of Trials steps come from the Ascension Trial, specifically Nightmare Altar on Hard difficulty. Entry requires level 45 and 2,000 item level, and you need a score around 4,000 or higher to clear the Season Challenge tiers that pay out crystals.

While you are in the shops, the Nightmare Trade Shop, Shugo Festival shop, and Abyss Trade Shop are also where you pick up Daevanion Crystals and Stigma Shards. Those raise combat power rather than gear score, but you need the combat power to survive 2,100-tier fights.

Transmute the Gold Chalice of Vigor
The Chalice of Vigor is an item level 80, Unique-grade Arcana with the Primal Vigor effect, which grants +40 PvE Attack while your HP is 70 percent or more. Equipping the transmuted gold version is the single biggest gear-score jump in this bracket, worth roughly +80 gear score.

Confirm you have hit 2,100
Open your character sheet and read the gear score figure at the top. A full set of blue Arcana cards, your core gear at +10, a few Vakron-tier replacements, and the transmuted Gold Chalice together clear 2,100. When the number crosses that line, Ferocious Horn Den and Fire Temple become available in the Expedition and Conquest lists, which is the clearest sign the climb worked. From there the next targets are Stage 3 Transcendence for yellow Arcana cards and Amplify Stones to push gear past +15.
