Lucky Aura: Rare is a Rare-grade Misc item in AION 2 with one job. It raises your odds when you combine Rare Skins and try to land a higher-grade skin. It has no duration and no cooldown. It cannot be crafted. Once you have one, it stays on that character.
Quick answer: Get Lucky Aura: Rare from skin-collection achievements, the Season Shop (paid in Oath Coin), the trade shop, or Hidden Cubes. Use it only when combining Rare Skins.

How to get Lucky Aura: Rare in AION 2
The aura comes from four places. None of them involve crafting, and you can’t buy one from another player.
- Achievement rewards for collecting skins
- The Season Shop, paid in Oath Coin
- The trade shop
- Hidden Cubes found in the open world
Skin collection achievements
Achievements are the steadiest source because you earn them by playing. Five gear-collection achievements pay out Lucky Aura: Rare (Bound), and each one has several tiers. Each tracks a different group of skins.
| Achievement | Skins it tracks |
|---|---|
| Fashionista | Any skins |
| Boss Imitator | Unique Field Monster and Boss Armor Skins |
| Tastes Found in Danger | Expedition Conquest Skins |
| Poko’s Friend | Poko’s Bundle Armor Skins |
| Au Naturel Orichalcum | Crafted Armor Skins |
Fashionista goes deepest. Its tiers also hand out Kina (Bound), the base Lucky Aura, Lucky Aura: Epic, and titles. Collecting 300 Skins earns the Epic title Fashion Forward, which gives Natural HP Regen 10 for owning it. Collecting over 700 Skins earns the Unique title Empty Closet, which gives HP 120 for owning it.
Season Shop and Hidden Cubes
The Season Shop sells the aura for Oath Coin, alongside its Common and Epic siblings. Hidden Cubes can also drop it. Altgard alone holds 59 Hidden Cubes spread across 1371 possible spots, so cube runs can turn up auras on the side while you explore.

Add to Google Preferences →What Lucky Aura: Rare does in skin combination
Skin combination takes your skins and rolls for a result one grade higher. Lucky Aura: Rare adds a flat bonus to that roll, but only when the skins going in are Rare Skins. It does nothing for Common, Epic, or Unique combines. Each of those grades has its own aura.
AION 2 has plenty of Rare Skins to feed into it. The Journey Progress set, the Journey Flow set, and the Silent Steel set are all Rare grade. Each set includes pieces such as the Helm, Pauldrons, Gloves, Boots, Cloak, Breastplate, and Greaves.
Lucky Aura: Rare trade and storage limits
The aura is bound, so plan which character uses it before you claim it.
- Character Storage: allowed
- Server Storage: not allowed
- Public Trade and Personal Trade: not allowed
- Selling: not allowed
Because Server Storage is blocked, you can’t move auras to an alt. Spend them on the character that holds the Rare Skins.

Lucky Aura: Rare compared to the other Lucky Auras
There are four Lucky Auras in total. Each one matches a single skin grade. They all stack to 1000, require level 1, and are bound.
| Aura | Grade | Skins it boosts | Bonus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Common | Common Skins | 10% | |
| Rare | Rare Skins | Flat bonus | |
| Epic | Epic Skins | 10% | |
| Unique | Unique Skins | 5% |
The Common aura costs 2550 Oath Coin in the shop, and the Epic aura costs 40200 Oath Coin. Both also come from achievements and Hidden Cubes.

The Unique aura is the odd one out. It isn’t sold in any shop, and Hidden Cubes are its only source.

If you’re pushing Rare Skins up a grade, Lucky Aura: Rare is the only aura that applies. Its Common, Epic, and Unique counterparts won’t help those rolls, so check the grade of the skins you’re combining before you add one.
