Aniimo has no universal wallet balance. Instead, its currency menu grows as you open up activities, and many new tokens are restricted to a single vendor that won’t take anything else. Eggshell Coins can’t help build your base, just as Home Coins can’t purchase capture devices. Recognizing which currencies work in multiple parts of the game and which are tied to one shop helps you avoid ending up with unusable tokens instead of a stocked roster.
Quick answer: Credits handle regular expenses, Glimmer is the limited all-purpose currency to save, Lumin Crystals are purchased with real money, and Primegy fuels stamina-based actions rather than purchases. All other currencies belong to specific activities and can only be used within those systems.
The three currencies that move across systems
Only a handful of currencies work in more than one shop. Learn these first, because every spending decision downstream depends on how much flexible buying power you are holding.
| Currency | Spent on | Earned from |
|---|---|---|
| Credits | Aniipods, XP items, general vendor stock | Catch Reports, chests, most normal play |
| Glimmer | Higher-tier vendor stock, exchanges, outfit conversions | Exploration, dailies, branch quests, Alpha and Omega bosses |
| Lumin Crystals | Premium shop outfits and convenience bundles | Real-money purchase |
Credits
Astra issues Credits as its standard currency, and they’re the one resource you can count on replenishing the day you spend them. Earn them by reporting catches, increasing Aniilog star levels, and opening chests. Use them for capture devices, experience items, and ordinary vendor goods. They’re suited to regular expenses, not scarce purchases.
One exception is a costly item that occasionally appears. At the Mysterious Vendor, Psyche Fruit—which changes personality—costs 140,000 Credits apiece, with a daily limit of three when it’s in stock. A single visit can wipe out a casual player’s balance.
Glimmer
Glimmer is the versatile currency to keep in reserve. Exploration, daily activity quests, branch quests, and boss chests provide it, but income drops steeply after those one-time rewards are collected, leaving a small daily supply. Use it on valuable stock with weekly limits: Sparkling Crystals, Capafruit, Aniipod Ultras, and convenience items like the Plant Growth Tonic, which completes a crop cycle, and the Energizing Work Meal, which completes an Aniimo work cycle. Use Glimmer for these time skips only when you’re facing an actual deadline.
You can exchange Glimmer for Fashion Vouchers, the free way to get shop cosmetics. Since the trade can’t be reversed, decide what you need the Glimmer for before exchanging it.
Lumin Crystals
Lumin Crystals are the sole currency bought with real money. The smallest pack costs $0.99 and contains 60 with a 60 bonus; the largest is $99.99 for 6,480 plus a 648 bonus. Use them for premium-shop outfits, convenience packs, and speedups. Since core progression currencies cannot be purchased directly, Lumin Crystals do not feed into the systems that determine your roster’s strength.

Add to Google Preferences →Primegy: the stamina meter that gates reward claims
Primegy is energy, not spending money. It is consumed when you claim from configured activities, so opening boss chests, producing extra Aniipods, crafting at your base, and collecting battle simulation rewards all draw from it. Walking around the world costs nothing.
Free-to-play players can hold up to 300 Primegy; the monthly pass increases the cap to 600. Recovery is one point every 6 minutes, adding up to 240 Primegy in 24 hours. You can challenge Institute Guide Alpha bosses as long as your Primegy allows, but Omega weekly bosses permit just three claims each week. Since those chests provide a major share of Glimmer, running out of Primegy pauses that income for the rest of your session. Think of the meter as a daily time allowance: use it rather than leaving it full.
Fastest ways to farm Credits
Catching and reporting is the backbone of Credit income. The Research Console at an Outpost, next to the vendor Joff, pays out on the rarity and volume of what you feed it, and thirty minutes of common Mistwoods catches can return over 500,000 Credits. Rarity matters more than the individual creature, so the goal is quantity: capture as many as possible, then report and release. Releasing also hands back Growth Buds for leveling your party.
| Method | Credit payout |
|---|---|
| Perfect catch (in a Catch Report) | 16,000 |
| Research Console, 30 minutes of common catches | 500,000+ |
| Pathfinder duel win | 50,000 |
| Alpha Challenge claim (costs Primegy) | 9,000 |
| Elective Course quest (Path of Discovery) | 6,000 |
| Gold / Purple / Blue chest | 15,000 / 7,500 / 5,000 |
| Main story quest | up to 50,000 |
The Vein Abundance event runs through October 26, 2026, and surges spawns of a target Aniimo from Friday to Sunday with a near-zero respawn timer. During testing, over 100 of the featured creature were captured in under 15 minutes, and a Tumbler pod scoops up to 10 at a time.
Aniipod and Aniipod Ultra prices
Capture devices consume most Credits, and a given device has three possible prices based on the offer you choose. Look at the daily discount stock before buying at the regular price.
| Purchase | Cost | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Aniipod, daily offer | 1,400 Credits | 120/day |
| Aniipod, weekly offer | 2,000 Credits | — |
| Aniipod, standard | 3,500 Credits | — |
| Aniipod Pro, daily offer | 2,800 Credits | 60/day |
| Aniipod Pro, weekly offer | 4,000 Credits | — |
| Aniipod Pro, standard | 7,000 Credits | — |
| 400,000 Credits | 1/day | |
| 20 Aniipod Ultra Vouchers | — |
Exchanging vouchers for an Ultra costs much less than paying 400,000 Credits, so save vouchers for a specific difficult catch. Use the Credit option only when you’re out of vouchers and your target is right there.
Capture and collection tokens
These currencies exist to catch rare creatures or lock in perfect stats. They redeem at fixed exchanges, so hold them until you have a concrete target.
Sparkling Crystals
Use Sparkling Crystals to make a Sparkling Cube. Once you have 1,000 crystals, trade them to an Outpost Vendor for a cube that ensures capture success at 100%, gives Sparkling status, and provides perfect stat rolls. You can get crystals from wild catches, chests, Elite Training, and Astra’s Starwish Gachapon. The Glimmer shop also sells 10 for 1,500 Glimmer, with a weekly limit of 100.

Aniipod Ultra Vouchers
An Outpost Vendor will exchange 20 vouchers for one Aniipod Ultra, which captures at 100% and has at least Elite rarity. Vouchers come from high-tier sanctum chests, Elite Training, and Holo-Battle Sim. Save them for tough captures instead of using them on any Aniimo you encounter.

Capaseeds and Capafruit
Collect 20 Capaseeds to exchange for one Capafruit at an Outpost Vendor. Using a Capafruit adds +1 innate potential to all six of an Aniimo’s attributes, permanently. Each Aniimo can only ever eat one Capafruit, so it is the finishing touch that turns an Elite creature into a Perfect one.

Starwish Coins
Starwish Coins are bought from Starlet at the Gachapon counter in Astra for 100 Voxel Coins each, then spent rolling the capsule machine for Sparkling Crystals and Aniipods. Because they run off Voxel Coins, they compete with everything else Voxel Coins can buy.

Coilstrike Coupons
Coilstrike Coupons play the Coilstrike Strength Tester mini-game in Astra. One coupon arrives by in-game mail each week, and a second is mailed after you spend 1,000 Voxel Coins across Astra shops in the same week.

Homeland currencies for your base and RV
The Homeland systems run on their own set of coins that never leave that loop. Home Coins do the heavy lifting, while the rarer materials gate module upgrades and crafting recipes.
| Currency | Spent on | Earned from |
|---|---|---|
| Home Coins | Plots, facilities, RV upgrades, order rerolls | Daily Orders, selling goods to the Co-op Store |
| Bud Tickets | Furniture and cosmetics | Petting working Aniimo, orders, RV Level 8 jar |
| Modification Toolkits | Installing RV module upgrades | RV milestones, Home Index score thresholds |
| Dream Sparks | High-tier crafting recipes at the Dream Spark Exchange | Upper-level RV milestones; major thresholds in the Home Index |
Once the RV reaches level 8, the Bud Ticket Jar generates tickets passively at 810 per day up to a capacity of 1,620, so empty it before it fills. Spend Home Coins on permanent capability first and leave consumable speedups for a production line that is already stable.
Operation: Egg Heist currencies
Egg Heist, a level 50 mode, has two currencies usable only in its own shop. Eggshell Coins are the main one; earn them from extraction chests or by selling ruin loot you’ve extracted. Use them for backpacks, defensive units, and permanent passive stat nodes in the Egg Heist talent tree.
Prismana Shell Shards are uncommon relic fragments that appear as loose ruin loot or come from hatching extracted eggs. Pair them with Eggshell Coins in the Egg Heist shop to purchase Mysterious Prismana Eggs. Since shards serve no other purpose, save them until you’re prepared to buy an egg.
Creature progression and combat tokens
Training runs on a family of tokens that never touch general shopping. Training Coin, Training Points, Training EXP, and the Quick Training Pass all feed leveling, alongside the Level 30, Level 40, and Level 50 Training Certificates. Fund your main team first, then spend on extra candidates.
Paw Coin covers combat equipment. The Pawprint Shop lists 24 Legendary Held Item types at 250 Paw Coin each, so read the effects rather than buying by rarity label, because a Legendary tag does not guarantee it fits your build. Evolution materials such as the named Prismatic Stone variants are the ones most often wasted, so buy them only after you have chosen the exact creature and branch.
The Mark of the Strong: Breezy Plains is the rarest progression currency in this group. Reporting Alpha Aniimo and completing Holo-Battle Sims earns it. Combine a +15 Legendary Held Item with 10 marks to create a contract that upgrades an Aniimo’s core active skill.
Cosmetic and form currencies
Cosmetic currencies each have a specific scope, so using the wrong one won’t work. They have no combat effect; prioritize them only when you need them for a recipe or collection goal.
- Use Shimmering Reverie to alter the overall look of a creature you’ve caught.
- Glimmering Mirage lets you change a single feature of a creature’s appearance.
- At Astra, the Trendsetter sells player outfits in exchange for Fashion Voucher.
- Sparkling Sigils force mutations: 10 transform any Aniimo into a Sparkling form, and 5 convert to a Sparkling Pigment to reroll colors.
Radiant Dreamshadow sits alongside these, tied to the Companion Handbook and Aniimo transmog.
Event, seasonal, and capped currencies
These are the schedule-sensitive currencies, and the ones most likely to be quietly wasted. Several carry hard weekly caps, so income past the cap earns nothing.
Voxel Coins
Voxel Coins can go toward Astra cosmetics, weekly training materials, and gachapon rolls. Reporting and the Star-Crossed Tea Party together award no more than 1,000 Voxel Coins per week; the Tea Party itself has a 150-per-day limit. Further runs after reaching the cap earn no Voxel Coins.
Windborn Stamps
Earn Windborn Stamps through Breezy Plains activities, Stamp Rush, Season Achievements, and the Companion Handbook, up to 1,000 stamps per week. The Stamp Shop accepts them for Vein Essence (50 stamps), Dewdrop Crystals, and Sparkling Eggs. Unlike Voxel Coins, extra stamps aren’t lost: after a source reaches its weekly cap, overflow is converted to Credits and sent by mail the following Monday.
Vein Essence
Vein Essence powers Bloom nurtures once your free daily charges are used. Nurturing is hard-capped at 25 nurtures per day across all blooms, and the essence itself comes mainly from Elite Training and regional bronze badges. It is scarce, so save it for the surge farms you actually plan to run.

Irisalis Petals and Fire Sparks
Irisalis Petals are a limited-time event currency. World exploration, Alpha first clears, and milestones provide all 107 petals, which you can use to craft the Legendary Anipod: Irisalis and purchase shop rewards. Fire Sparks belong to the Sparkelf crossover; they advance personal and server tracks that award Fire Sprout Biscuits and eggs.

Achievement Points
Achievement Points progress the Season Achievement track. They come from four paths: Aniimo collection, Combat, Egg Heist, and Homeland, and unlock high-tier seasonal rewards as you clear milestones.

How to avoid stranding currency
Exchanges in Aniimo are almost always irreversible, and a neat-looking shop ratio doesn’t tell you how much farming each currency requires. Check a few things before you trade.
- Is the stock limited? Weekly and seasonal offers deserve attention before an unlimited material still on the shelf tomorrow.
- Can normal play farm the item anyway? Do not spend flexible Glimmer to replace an easy Credit or common Aniipod route.
- Does it finish an upgrade you can complete today? Buy for a real bottleneck, not for a Legendary label.
- Can the exchange be undone? Hold some back until you’ve verified both the destination and the amount.
Use activity tokens within their own systems, save Glimmer toward a specific goal, and keep some currency available for upcoming event shops. Once you’ve spent your whole balance, you can’t restore it when a limited shop appears the next morning.
