Devil Fruit Arena is a One Piece-inspired PvP fighting game on Roblox from Blackbox Fighting, built around collecting 20 Devil Fruits and using them in open arena combat. Everything in the game runs on Yen. You spend it on fruit spins in the lobby, and the fruits you pull decide how competitive you are in the arena and against world bosses.
Quick answer: Fight the world boss with other players. Boss damage pays out far more Yen per minute than chest hunting, and one spin costs 15 Yen while three cost 45 Yen, so a single boss run funds several rolls.
The fastest way to earn Yen in Devil Fruit Arena
There are two reliable income streams. Chests spawn around the map and hold Yen, but collecting them is slow and leaves you exposed to other players who can kill you mid-pickup. The world boss is the better option by a wide margin.
Bosses like Mihawk have 7,500 HP and are designed to be taken down by a group. Damage is tracked on a board, and rewards are split among everyone who contributed. That means you do not need to land the killing blow, you just need to keep hitting it. Boss fights also push your level up quickly, which is why they beat solo farming on both counts.
Tip: Do not start a boss fight alone. With 35-player servers, waiting for a group to gather at the boss costs you a few seconds and saves you an entire failed attempt.

Add to Google Preferences →Free Yen from active codes
Blackbox Games hands out codes for free Yen and titles, which is the quickest way to fund your first few spins without farming at all. Two are currently live.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| SAF | 250 Yen |
| CREWMATE | ‘Loyal’ title |
You will know it worked when your Yen counter jumps by 250 or the title appears on your name. Codes are time-limited and expire, so redeem them as soon as you see them. New ones usually drop alongside updates and are posted in the Blackbox Games Discord server.
Fruit spin costs and every drop rate
Fruits are pulled from the spin machine in the lobby’s fruit section. A single spin runs 15 Yen, and a triple spin is 45 Yen, so there is no bulk discount. Buying three at once only saves you clicks.
You have four slots to hold fruits at a time. Once those fill up, every new pull means replacing something, so decide what you are willing to drop before you start spinning.

Here is the full rarity spread and the odds behind each fruit.
| Fruit | Rarity | Odds |
|---|---|---|
| Bomb | Common | 1 in 6 |
| Barrier | Common | 1 in 6 |
| Sand | Uncommon | 1 in 12 |
| Flame | Uncommon | 1 in 12 |
| Rubber | Uncommon | 1 in 12 |
| Ice | Rare | 1 in 13 |
| Dark | Rare | 1 in 13 |
| Love | Rare | 1 in 13 |
| Tremor | Epic | 1 in 313 |
| String | Epic | 1 in 313 |
| Magma | Legendary | 1 in 900 |
| Paw | Legendary | 1 in 1,184 |
| Light | Legendary | 1 in 1,184 |
| Shadow | Legendary | 1 in 1,607 |
| Dough | Mythic | 1 in 7,000 |
| Control | Mythic | 1 in 12,000 |
The gap between tiers is worth reading carefully. Rare fruits are barely harder to hit than Uncommon ones, since Ice, Dark, and Love sit at 1 in 13 against 1 in 12 for Sand, Flame, and Rubber. The real wall is Epic. Tremor and String jump straight to 1 in 313, which is roughly 25 times rarer than anything below them.
Mythic is a different scale entirely. At 1 in 12,000, Control would take around 180,000 Yen worth of single spins to hit on average. Treat Mythic pulls as luck, not a goal you grind toward.
Which fruits are worth keeping
Rarity is the practical guide to power here, and Epic is the first tier that meaningfully changes how you fight. Tremor is the clearest example of what an Epic pull gets you, with a full four-move kit that covers close range, area damage, and a heavy finisher.
| Key | Tremor ability |
|---|---|
| Z | Tremor Punch |
| X | Tremor Slam |
| C | Tremor Blast |
| V | Seaquake |

If your four slots are full of Commons and Uncommons, replace the weakest first. Dropping a Sand for a Rare like Love is a straight upgrade, and there is no reason to sit on two Commons when a Rare is only marginally harder to roll.
How mastery unlocks extra fruit moves
A fruit does not arrive with its whole kit available. Using its abilities in combat raises that fruit’s mastery level, and hitting mastery thresholds unlocks additional moves for it. Tremor Blast on the C key, for instance, only becomes usable after you have put enough work in with the earlier abilities.

This makes boss fights doubly efficient. A world boss with 7,500 HP absorbs a huge number of ability casts without dying, so you build mastery and earn Yen in the same run. Spamming your unlocked moves into a boss health bar is the cleanest way to reach the next unlock.
Mastery is tracked per fruit, not per account. Swapping between all four slots splits your progress, so pick one fruit and commit to it until its kit is complete.

Bounty, titles, and what else the game tracks
Beyond Yen and mastery, the game runs a bounty system that climbs as you take out other players in the arena. There are also 15 morphs and titles to earn, and a code like CREWMATE hands you one without the grind.
One thing to avoid entirely: the developers state that cheating, exploiting, or farming with alternate accounts results in a permanent ban. Alt farming for boss damage is not a shortcut worth taking.
Put together, the loop is straightforward. Redeem the live codes for a starting balance, join the world boss with whoever is nearby, spend the payout on triple spins, and keep casting with whichever fruit sits highest on the rarity table until its mastery moves are all unlocked.
