Cyanknight is one of the toughest endgame fights in Evomon, and it does not play fair. This Level 195 boss heals for every point of damage it deals, ignores stat changes, and grows stronger each turn. The only reliable way through is a Grass-type team that out-damages its healing before the fight spirals.
Quick answer: Bring Level 180 Grass-type evomons, lead with Tarragon (Wrap Assault plus Seed Bomb), and grind down its 2,827 HP with super-effective damage. Skip stat buffs and status moves, since Cyanknight is immune to stat changes and repairs itself with 100% Lifesteal.
Where to find Cyanknight and what you need first
Cyanknight lives on Cyanrock Valley, the only island currently in the Expedition Isles world. You unlock access to this world after reaching Player Level 55. That character level comes from clearing daily and weekly quests, which also feed the EXP you use for Ascensions.

Before you walk in, level your team to at least 180. Cyanknight sits at Level 195, and its health pool is large enough that an underleveled roster simply cannot outpace its self-healing.

Add to Google Preferences →Cyanknight’s mechanics that punish the wrong team
Cyanknight carries a special mechanic that makes it far more dangerous than its stat line suggests. Every attack it lands returns full health through 100% Lifesteal, so a slow team hands it a constant supply of healing.
On top of that, it is immune to stat changes, and it gains extra Special Attack and PP with every turn. The longer the fight drags, the harder it hits and the more moves it can keep throwing. That combination is why buff-stacking and status effects are wasted turns here.

Your goal is straightforward. Deal steady super-effective damage with Grass and Fighting attacks while keeping your own evomon alive, and close the fight before Cyanknight’s turn-by-turn scaling gets out of hand.
Best counters for Cyanknight
Tarragon and Thordlord are the two strongest match-ups. Both hit with Grass-type moves for super-effective damage, and both bring their own sustain to survive a long trade.
Tarragon (top pick)
Tarragon, the evolved form of Tarro, is the most reliable answer. Wrap Assault summons vines that trap and damage Cyanknight, while Seed Bomb saps enemy health to keep Tarragon topped up. The boss will match your healing blow-for-blow, but Tarragon’s Grass-type advantage keeps you ahead over time.
Thordlord (strong backup)
Thordlord, the evolution of Mudthorn, works best once it rolls the Drain trait, which grants a permanent 18% Lifesteal. With that passive in place, its Grass-type skills chip Cyanknight’s health while keeping Thordlord healed through the fight.
| Evomon | Evolves from | Key tools |
|---|---|---|
| Tarragon | Tarro | Wrap Assault, Seed Bomb (damage and healing) |
| Thordlord | Mudthorn | Grass-type skills, Drain trait (18% Lifesteal) |
Rewards for beating Cyanknight
Clearing the fight lets you catch Cyanie, Cyanknight’s pre-evolved form. Use a Basic, Advanced, King, or Prismatic Ball to capture it and add it to your collection.

As an island boss, Cyanknight also drops Element Stones and Coins. Element Stones fuel evolutions, and Coins let you shop from the Coin Shop, so the fight pays off beyond the new catch.
If the fight isn’t going your way
Most failed runs come down to the same problems. Underleveled evomons cannot out-damage the 100% Lifesteal, so a team below Level 180 will stall out. Relying on stat buffs or status moves also wastes turns, because Cyanknight ignores stat changes entirely. Keep your damage on Grass-type moves, stay level-appropriate, and end the fight quickly so the boss’s per-turn scaling never catches up to you.
