During Chapter 1 of Final Fantasy Resonance, “Tailing the Truth”, travel south by chocobo after leaving the Village of Kol to find Felicitas, a town built within the mountain. Reaching it (the route is in the Chapter 1 walkthrough) changes your objective to “Go to the Kolobos Ruins”. Before leaving, check the local shops to give your party a solid boost, particularly at the weapon counter.
Quick answer: As of Chapter 1, Felicitas has an inn plus weapon, armor and item shops. Rain can take the Longsword for 650 Gil, Lasswell the Dodanuki for 700, and Fina the Shortbow for 600; Lasswell can also use the Knight’s Jacket for 750. Alongside standard Potions, Phoenix Downs, Antidote Herbs, Smoke Bombs, and Tents, the item vendor stocks Mist Potion, Eye Drops, Smelling Salts, and Unicorn Horn.

How to get into the Town of Felicitas
Felicitas occupies the interior of the mountain on the Felicitas island. From the south-facing camera angle, north corresponds to the top of the screen, while west lies to the left.

On the western edge of the arrival square, the house marked with a bed sign serves as the inn. Its interior contains the pink floor circle used for saving, making it the place to save before setting off for the ruins.

Talk to the innkeeper and the INN menu offers “Stay” for 100 Gil. Picking it opens a “Rest?” box showing your Gil and the Cost, with No selected by default, so move to Yes before confirming.

Felicitas weapon shop: Longsword, Dodanuki and Shortbow
Look east of the square for the combined weapon-and-armor shop, identified by its crossed-swords-and-shield emblem. Its two clerks work at a shared counter.

There are three weapons on the BUY list, one for each party member. Buying all three costs 1,950 Gil.
| Weapon | For | Price | Stats |
|---|---|---|---|
| Longsword | Rain | 650 Gil | Phys. Atk 32, Mag. Atk 15 |
| Dodanuki | Lasswell | 700 Gil | Phys. Atk 28, Mag. Atk 21 |
| Shortbow | Fina | 600 Gil | Phys. Atk 26, Mag. Atk 21, Sanctity 27 |
Longsword is an upgrade over Rain’s initial Crimson Saber, whose stats are Phys. Atk 21 and Mag. Atk 9; the displayed gains are +11 Phys. Atk and +6 Mag. Atk.

Dodanuki gives Lasswell +12 Phys. Atk and +9 Mag. Atk over what he’s carrying.

Shortbow shows +27 Sanctity on Fina. That matters more than it looks, because her Shining Arrow (see Fina’s skills) reads “Power scales with sanctity.” More Sanctity means a harder-hitting Shining Arrow.

Buying and equipping a weapon

Felicitas armor shop: Knight’s Jacket for Lasswell
The armor clerk is the second clerk at the same counter. The Bronze Chestplate and Tunic cost the same as in the Town of Mitra. The Knight’s Jacket is the new piece.

The comparisons below assume Rain is wearing the Black Garb from Grandshelt Castle, Lasswell has Leather Armor and Fina has a Leather Robe. Changes are listed as Phys. Def / Mag. Def.
| Character | Knight’s Jacket | Tunic |
|---|---|---|
| Lasswell | +26 / +25 | +11 / +15 |
| Rain | +5 / +5 | -10 / -5 |
| Fina | +8 / -9, -10 Sanctity | -7 / -19, -10 Sanctity |
Lasswell is the one who should get the Knight’s Jacket. He gains the most from it by a wide margin.

For Rain, retain the Black Garb: its Phys. Def +26, Mag. Def +23, and Speed +8 outweigh the modest defense improvement, since the Knight’s Jacket provides no Speed.
Leave Fina in her Leather Robe; every available armor option lowers her Mag. Def and Sanctity.
Felicitas item shop location and stock

The shop carries the basics—Potions, Phoenix Downs, Antidote Herbs, Smoke Bombs, and Tents—alongside Mist Potion for healing the whole party. Eye Drops, Smelling Salts, and Unicorn Horn address Blind, Confuse, and Paralysis, respectively. Neither Hi-Potion nor Ether appears among its wares.

The Tent is described as “Completely restores HP and MP when used at a save point or on the field map.” With the save point a short walk away in the inn, that works as a portable inn stay.

The Smoke Bomb entry shows “Remaining: 3”, so you can only buy three here.
Inside the item shop, Chloe stands to the left of the counter with a blue “!” above her head. Talk to her to start the side quest “Secrets Unearthed”, which asks you to collect core samples from three places in Kolobos (Goal “Collect Kolobos core samples (0/3)”) and rewards a Magicite Shard and Monk’s Prayer Beads.

Selling items in Felicitas
Every shop in town has a Sell tab, with category tabs along the top. Enemy drops like the Knife of Poison and Knife of Blind sell for good money, and that’s an easy way to top up Gil before buying the weapons.

| Item | Sell price |
|---|---|
| Potion | 25 Gil |
| Phoenix Down | 50 Gil |
| Antidote Herb | 20 Gil |
| Tent | 70 Gil |
| Ether | 120 Gil |
| Mist Potion | 120 Gil |
| Knife of Poison | 120 Gil |
| Knife of Blind | 250 Gil |
| Flame Scroll I | 250 Gil |
| Leather Armor | 20 Gil |
| Leather Robe | 20 Gil |
| Black Garb | 250 Gil |
| Earrings of Health | 150 Gil |
| Longsword | 160 Gil |
| Shortbow | 150 Gil |
| Dodanuki | 170 Gil |
An Ether sells for 120 Gil on the Sell tab, where its tooltip says “Restores 50 MP.”

Gear that someone is wearing appears greyed out on the list, with the wearer’s portrait next to it.

What to buy first in Felicitas
Spend in this order:
- The Longsword, Dodanuki and Shortbow, for 1,950 Gil together
- The Knight’s Jacket for Lasswell, for 750 Gil
- A Mist Potion or two, then Unicorn Horns
The weapons come first because they make the biggest difference. Rain and Lasswell both get double-digit Phys. Atk jumps, and Fina’s +27 Sanctity feeds directly into Shining Arrow. Once those three are equipped and Lasswell is in the jacket, whatever Gil is left goes on party-wide healing and Paralysis cures before you set off for the Kolobos Ruins.
