How To Get The Dress To Impress Badge in The Hollow

The Hollow is the Halloween event in Roblox this year that runs across different platforms. It started on October 17th, 2026, and while it is active, you can complete various challenges and get rewards. Dress To Impress is one of the games that is part of The Hollow event, and you can get the Dress To Impress badge by finishing the first chapter of the Dark King questline. This guide will let you know how to do that.

Start the Tales of the Dark King Quest

When you first log in to Dress To Impress, you need to first locate and start the Tales of the Dark King Quest.

Click the Teleport button at the bottom left.

Click the Teleport button on the bottom left.

Select the Tales of the Dark King event option.

Click the Yes button to confirm your choice to join the Halloween quest server.

Interact with Lana and Styx

Your character will wake up in the quest area.

Walk over to the message board and press E to read the letter there.

After reading the letter, talk to Lana, the NPC nearby, by going to her and pressing E.

Talking to Lana will open up a new path nearby. Continue along it.

Continue walking forward until you come across Styx. A short cutscene will play while he tells you where you are.

Talking to Styx will give you the first actual quest you need to complete.

After getting the quest, walk down to one of the platforms to start.

Step onto one of the platforms to start the quest.

Choose to play Solo or with a party of up to four players. Then click the Start button to begin.

Complete Chapter 1

When the quest starts, you will be teleported onto a boat that will cross the river and let you reach the other side. Your objective is to keep providing the fuel it needs to do so.

The NPC on the boat will explain that you need to keep taking the fuel onboard and adding it to the lantern.

Once the boat starts moving, the power will start dropping. Move to the fuel source to collect fuel and then move to the lantern to refuel. You need to keep doing so, moving back and forth, to prevent the fuel from dropping to zero.

Move between the fuel source to keep refuelling.

You will also need to prevent monsters from climbing into the boat from the sides by hitting them with the paddle.

Hit monsters to prevent them from climbing in.

When the boat runs out of fuel, you will need to get off and search the area for glowing orbs. Collect ten orbs and return to the boat.

Continue the journey until you reach the Soul Field. Here, when you get off the ship, follow the glowing orb.

Follow the glowing orb to complete your journey.

The orb will take you to the Fates, where a cutscene will start. This means that Chapter 1 is complete, and you will be awarded the Dress to Impress badge for The Hollow event.
