How to Unlock Piglet in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Chapter 9 Walkthrough

Clear the fog around Braveheart Grove, repair the Shortcut Bridge, and add Piglet to your village.

Clear the fog around Braveheart Grove, repair the Shortcut Bridge, and add Piglet to your village.

Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again) is the Honeyglow Woods quest that finally brings Piglet into your Disney Dreamlight Valley village. The task centers on the Everoak Tree in Braveheart Grove, where a nearby drawing has lost its color. You restore the paints, retrace Winnie the Pooh‘s steps, and rebuild a broken bridge so the friends can reach each other again.

Quick answer: Recover the pink, blue, and yellow paints for the Everoak Tree drawing, photograph three of Pooh’s locations, then craft a Bridge Repair Kit with 10 Tree Resin, 10 Driftwood, 10 Soft Limestone, and 5 Golden Honey to fix the Shortcut Bridge. Piglet joins your village once the paints are restored.

Where the quest begins

The quest starts automatically after you finish Chapter 8: The Little Big Forest. You begin in the same spot as the previous mission, standing with the Winnie the Pooh trio in front of the Everoak Tree entrance in Braveheart Grove. During the opening conversation, the four of you notice that the colors have vanished from a nearby drawing, which sends you off to track them down.

Find the missing paints in Braveheart Grove

Start at the southern end of the river and walk north along it. A new objective appears, prompting you to talk to Piglet, who has found some pink paint for you to carry back to the Everoak Tree.

Bring the pink paint back to the tree. It won’t be enough on its own, so you’ll need to gather more paint from around the Grove before the entrance opens.
Follow the trails of dark blue paint scattered across Braveheart Grove. The first two are near the bridge that connects the biome to the Everoak Tree, and the trail loops around until it reaches Piglet’s House.
Enter Piglet’s House to find Eeyore, who explains that the blue paint is just on his tail. He hands you blue paint to take back to the Everoak Tree drawing.

Photograph Winnie the Pooh’s locations

After you apply the blue paint and speak with Piglet, look for Winnie the Pooh to hear what he remembers. He retraces his recent steps, and your job becomes taking a picture at each of the three spots he describes. Getting the correct angle is the fiddly part, especially at the broken bridge, so line up each landmark clearly in frame before you snap the photo.

Return to Pooh Bear and show him all three photos. He recalls something important and runs toward the broken bridge, then asks you to repair it so he and Piglet can have a shortcut to visit one another.

Repair the Shortcut Bridge

To fix the bridge, gather the four materials below and bring them back to Winnie the Pooh.

MaterialQuantity
Tree Resin10
Driftwood10
Soft Limestone10
Golden Honey5
Collect all four materials, then talk to Winnie the Pooh to receive a Bridge Repair Kit.
Head back to Braveheart Grove and interact with the orange bridge sign to rebuild the bridge using your resources. The sign only appears on the Braveheart Grove side, not on the Drowsybloom Acre side.

Note: Once repaired, the bridge becomes a fast shortcut between Drowsybloom Acre and Braveheart Grove that works in both directions.

How to know the quest is complete

With the bridge rebuilt, speak to Piglet, Eeyore, and Pooh Bear to collect the yellow paint for the Everoak Tree drawing. Applying it finishes restoring the colors, and Piglet officially joins your village. That confirmation marks the end of Chapter 9: How to Meet a Best Friend (Again) and rolls straight into Interlude 3: The Shadowy Surprise.
