Palworld: How to Get Renjishi (Location and Breeding Combos)

Renjishi only appears as a Level 78 World Tree boss, but breeding gives you a second route to this Fire-type Pal.

Renjishi only appears as a Level 78 World Tree boss, but breeding gives you a second route to this Fire-type Pal.

Renjishi is a Fire-type Pal introduced in the Palworld 1.0 update, which went live on July 10, 2026. It never appears as a wild spawn, so you cannot catch one by wandering the map. There are exactly two ways to add it to your Paldeck: beat and capture it at its boss location, or hatch it through breeding.

Quick answer: Travel to the World Tree in the northeast of the map, just east of the Corroded Hollow fast travel point, and defeat the Level 78 Renjishi Field Alpha Boss with Water-type Pals, then throw a high-tier Pal Sphere. If you would rather breed it, pair Dupin with Dandilord.

Renjishi location in the World Tree

Renjishi shows up as a Field Alpha Boss in the World Tree area, one of the new regions in the full release. Look in the northeast part of the map, directly east of the Corroded Hollow fast travel point. The encounter is a fixed boss fight, so it will always be waiting there rather than roaming.

It appears at Level 78, which makes this a late-game target. You will need solid gear and a strong party before you can reliably take it down and capture it.

How to beat and catch Renjishi

Fast travel to Corroded Hollow and head east into the World Tree to reach the boss arena.
Bring Water-type Pals. Renjishi is a Fire type, so Water attacks deal extra damage. Jormuntide, Azurobe, and Surfent are all strong picks for this fight.
Leave Ice and Leaf Pals at home. Both take increased damage from Fire, so they will fold quickly against Renjishi’s all-Fire moveset.
Wear its health down, then throw a high-tier Pal Sphere to capture it. Once caught, Renjishi is added to your Paldeck and party. It also drops Leather and Flame Organ on defeat or capture.

Note: Renjishi can also be hatched from a Large Scorching Egg if you find one, giving you a third path outside of the boss fight and breeding.

Renjishi breeding combos

Breeding is the reliable alternative if you would rather not grind the boss. Place two compatible parents in a Breeding Farm with cake, and you will eventually hatch a Renjishi egg. These parent pairs all produce one.

The Dupin and Dandilord pairing is the easiest to reach if you are not deep into the endgame, since both parents are simple to obtain. Players further along can use Azurmane and Frostallion, and anyone who already owns a Shadowbeak can pair it with Aegidron.

Partner skill and work suitability

Renjishi’s Partner Skill is Stage Combat. While it stays in your party, your own attacks inflict Burn on enemies, which makes it a handy pick whenever you want steady damage over time in a fight.

At your base, Renjishi is one of the strongest Fire workers thanks to its Kindling Level 8, the highest tier for the job. Its full work suitability is below.

Renjishi cannot be ridden. Its base stats sit at 105 HP, 120 Attack, and 100 Defense, marking it as an offense-leaning Pal.

Renjishi active skills

Every move Renjishi learns is a Fire attack, and each one can apply Burn, so it keeps a damage-over-time effect running through almost any encounter. Fire Ball is the biggest single hit at 600 power, while Volcanic Rain offers heavy output on a shorter cooldown.

Whether you capture Renjishi at the World Tree or hatch it at your base, the payoff is a Fire specialist that both fuels your kindling stations and keeps enemies burning in the field.
