Quick answer: Blazing Edge is the Soul Tempered form of Sanguine Reach. Bring Sanguine Reach, the Flaming Grip and 5,000 Remnant Dust to Myst in Pangzhen, then Soul Temper it.

How to get Blazing Edge

Blazing Edge is a two-handed weapon. You get it by upgrading another weapon, so you need the base blade, one material and enough Remnant Dust before you visit Myst.

Obtain Sanguine Reach. Forge creates this long, two-handed blade using the materials that go into Sanguine.
Get the Flaming Grip, which is found in Meigu Lake. Two pieces restore it, Scorching Flames and The Quenched Flaming Grip. Both pieces carry the same card line, “Collect every fragment to restore the Flaming Grip, used to Soul Temper the Sanguine Reach.” The finished item’s card reads “Used to Soul Temper the Sanguine Reach.”
In Pangzhen, find Myst at the Order’s underground tavern. Speak with her, then select “Soul Temper”.
Choose Sanguine Reach and press P to enter Soul Tempering. The upgrade entry states “Transformed through Soul Tempering into Blazing Edge.”
Pay 5,000 Remnant Dust and 1 Flaming Grip to confirm. Sanguine Reach becomes Blazing Edge. The full Soul Tempering screen is covered in how to Soul Temper.

Blazing Edge item card

Blazing Edge is listed as a Two-Handed weapon. Its card describes it as “A long blade that transforms Sha-Chi into raging flame. It can shatter shields and burn enemies to ash.”

A second line on the card confirms the upgrade: “Soul Tempered from Sanguine Reach, it can convert Sha-Chi into raging flames.” The fire comes from the Flaming Grip, whose card reads “Rekindled by the Everlasting Flame, the Flaming Grip transforms all Sha-Chi infused into it into blazing flames.”

Is Blazing Edge worth it

Soul Tempering gives Sanguine Reach a set of fire arts of its own. Heavy hits build Burning Energy toward Burning Blade, Flame Wave Ignites enemies, and Sunderflame Ignites while dealing massive damage to Frozen enemies. That makes a Phantom Edge that freezes enemies a natural partner, since it sets up Sunderflame. Every weapon and Phantom Edge is in the weapons list.

The Soul Temper cost and screen work the same way for every weapon. To see which material upgrades which weapon, check all Soul Tempering materials.
