Quick answer: In central Pangzhen, by the Marketplace bell, collect the Jade Brush Rest and Tiger Paperweight. Search the backstreet chests for the Ink Stick and Carved-edge Inkstone, then hand all four over to Quick Hand Zhang.
Where the Lost Treasures of Pangzhen list comes from
Quick Hand Zhang sits in a cave vault beneath his Pangzhen hideout, which is reached from the Zhang’s Hideout (Pangzhen) bell. His other hideouts and his shop are covered in the Quick Hand Zhang hideout breakdown. Speak to him and he gives you a page from his book, “QUICK HAND ZHANG’S RELIC LIST”, with the heading “LOST TREASURES OF PANGZHEN”. After that, the conversation offers two choices, “Trade” and “Leave”.

The page names four relics: “Jade Brush Rest”, “Ink stick”, “Tiger-shaped Paperweight” and “Carved-edge Inkstone”. In your inventory, the items appear as JADE BRUSH REST, INK STICK, TIGER PAPERWEIGHT and CARVED-EDGE INKSTONE. They count toward the quest “QUICK HAND’S REQUEST”, whose objective for this region reads “Collect all the treasures in Pangzhen”.

Two of the relics sit out in the open in central Pangzhen. The other two sit in chests in the backstreet. Each one is listed with its nearest bell from the Phantom Blade Zero bell list.
| Treasure | How you get it | Nearest bell | Distance |
|---|---|---|---|
| glinting pickup, central Pangzhen | Marketplace | about 45 m, about 10 m higher than the bell (Myst’s Tavern bell is about 65 m away) | |
| glinting pickup, central Pangzhen | Marketplace | about 60 m, about 25 m higher (Myst’s Tavern bell is about 75 m away, at about the same height) | |
| chest, Pangzhen backstreet | Backstreet Rest | about 165 m, about 9 m lower | |
| jade chest, Pangzhen backstreet | Pond of Fading Song | about 85 m, slightly higher |
Every distance is measured in a straight line from the bell, not along a walking path.
Jade Brush Rest
Look for a glinting pickup in central Pangzhen, about 45 meters from the Marketplace bell and roughly 10 meters above it. The Pangzhen interactive map shows where both central pickups sit relative to the Marketplace. The item card reads:
A blue-green jade brush carved with auspicious cloud motifs, paired with a mountain-shaped jade brush rest. Years ago, a wealthy patron acquired the set from an impoverished scholar who had placed first in the imperial examinations. No one remembers what became of the scholar. The jade brush, meanwhile, has spent its days lying on the young master’s desk, never again putting a single elegant line to paper.
A priceless treasure. It can be traded to Quick Hand Zhang for useful items.

Tiger Paperweight
This is the second glinting pickup in central Pangzhen. It sits about 60 meters from the Marketplace bell and about 25 meters higher. Myst’s Tavern bell is about 75 meters away at roughly the same height. The relic page calls it “Tiger-shaped Paperweight”. The card reads:
A reclining tiger paperweight cast from solid gold and finished in festive vermilion lacquer. It was once a lavish gift from a sect leader surnamed Ming to a painter at Tianxiang Pavilion. But in times of chaos, fortunes can turn overnight: one day, it was an enviable treasure holding down a sheet of paper; the next, a deadly burden weighing on its owner’s heart.
A priceless treasure. It can be traded to Quick Hand Zhang for useful items.

Ink Stick
The Ink Stick is inside a chest in the Pangzhen backstreet, about 165 meters from the Backstreet Rest bell and about 9 meters below it. Every item chest in the area is listed in the Pangzhen backstreet chest locations. The card reads:
A medicinal ink stick shaped like a cicada shell. Years ago, a local landowner presented it to General Wu Xuan and his men in gratitude for their defense against the Maskwalkers. But this medicine could do little to mend so many broken bodies. How could it compare to the immediate effects of Perfect Transcension?
A priceless treasure. It can be traded to Quick Hand Zhang for useful items.

Carved-edge Inkstone
The last relic is in a jade chest, also in the Pangzhen backstreet. It is about 85 meters from the Pond of Fading Song bell and slightly higher than it. The card reads:
The craftsman carving this inkstone fell ill, spending ever longer asleep and ever less time awake, until one day he never woke again, his carving knife still clenched in hand. The unfinished inkstone was placed in storage by the healers. But ever since, they have occasionally come across a Wooden Puppet inside, quietly carving an inkstone, one stroke at a time.
A priceless treasure. It can be traded to Quick Hand Zhang for useful items.

Trading the treasures to Quick Hand Zhang
Zhang takes the Pangzhen relics as one set of four, so collect every piece before you head back to his cave vault from the Zhang’s Hideout (Pangzhen) bell and talk to him.
The Pangzhen page is only one part of his list. Other regions have their own relic pages, and “QUICK HAND’S REQUEST” also carries objectives for the Village of Lu, Meigu Lake and Mirage Estate. The treasures for every other region are in the full Quick Hand Zhang treasure list.
