What Goldblaze is good for
Goldblaze is a ranged Phantom Edge with the Ranged Shot field ability, which can knock down certain hanging objects from medium to long range, even while the weapon is unequipped. At weapon levels 5, 15 and 25, it unlocks three Firelock Step arts that let you shoot as you dodge sideways, forward or backward.
Two arts add damage. Dodge Counter, the Tempering art, adds a Perfect Dodge counterattack on Block plus Phantom Edges. Armor-Piercing Round, at weapon level 10, raises damage against enemies that are not Guard-Broken.
