The Riftbeasts Egg tracks a pity counter that fills one point per hatch and displays as a running total, such as 27/50. When it reaches 50/50, the next Riftbeasts Egg you hatch is a guaranteed Eternal, which in that pool means the Void Serpent.
Two things follow from that. Pity is the reliable route to a top-end pet, and it stops short of Divine, because Shattered Colossus lives in a different egg. If you specifically want the Divine, pity progress on Riftbeasts does nothing for you and every Shattered Rift Egg you roll is an independent 0.5 percent attempt.
Fusing and instant hatching to cycle eggs faster
The Fuse Machine takes three identical pets and returns either a higher-tier egg or an upgraded variant of the pet.
