Wisptis Evolution in Aniimo: How to Get Ignitis and Fulmintis

The level 29 branch splits two ways, and only one of them needs a paid Season 1 item.

Wisptis is a small Dark DPS that hunts at night in Berylline Vale, and it is one of the few Aniimo whose evolution forces a real decision. At level 29 it splits down two separate roads, and a single Wisptis can only walk one of them. One road keeps it in the dark, scythe-swinging assassin lane. The other rebuilds its broken forelimbs into Electric blades.

Quick answer: Raise a Wisptis to Aniimo level 29, then either defeat 3 Wisptis of the same Form in succession and pay Night Stone x1 for Ignitis, or obtain a Fulminous Soul and pay Roar Stone x1 for Fulmintis.

Wisptis evolution branches: Ignitis or Fulmintis, not both

This is a branch, not a chain. Wisptis sits at the Lumin stage and evolves once, directly into either Ignitis or Fulmintis. Neither result evolves again, so whichever condition you satisfy first is the one you are locked into for that creature. If you want both in your Aniilog, you need two Wisptis.

FulmintisElectricAniimo level 29; obtain item: Fulminous SoulRoar Stone x1

Both paths share the same level gate, so the level requirement is never the thing that separates them. Wild Wisptis in Berylline Vale spawn between levels 40 and 47, which means a freshly caught one is usually already past the threshold and ready to go the moment you have the materials.

How to evolve Wisptis into Ignitis

The Dark branch is the free one, and the only barrier is a run of wins against its own kind.

Catch a Wisptis and get it to Aniimo level 29. Berylline Vale at nighttime is the reliable spot for the basic Dark form, and the local spawn levels sit well above the requirement.
Score consecutive victories in competitions against members of the same group. In practice that means defeating 3 Wisptis of the same Form as your own in succession, so a Forest Wisptis has to beat Forest Wisptis, and a Highland Wisptis has to beat Highland Wisptis.
Spend Night Stone x1 to complete the evolution. Nothing else is required, and no additional item unlocks this route.

Ignitis lands at the Nova stage as a Dark DPS, standing 1.65m tall and weighing 8kg. It keeps the Cloak mobility skill and the Battle Fervor trait, which stacks Battlelust on a kill to raise damage for a short window, up to two stacks. It also appears in the wild in Berylline Vale at night if you would rather catch one outright than evolve one.

How to get Fulmintis and the Fulminous Soul

The Electric branch cannot be earned by fighting. It is gated behind a single item, and that item comes from Season 1 progression rather than the open world.

Get the Advanced Edition of the Season 1 Companion Handbook, Aniimo’s premium track. The free tier does not carry the item that opens this branch.
Push the Companion Handbook to Level 10 and claim the Fulminous Soul. Holding it is what makes the second evolution option appear on a qualifying Wisptis.
With your Wisptis at Aniimo level 29, choose the Electric branch and pay Roar Stone x1. There is no win streak requirement on this side.

Fulmintis is a Nova-stage Electric DPS at 1.5m and 8kg, filed under Season 1 Keepsakes rather than a Breezy Plains habitat. It swaps Battle Fervor for Electro Stash, which restores 4 EP whenever a skill lands a critical hit, and it keeps Cloak for traversal.

Fulmintis

Because Fulmintis exists only as an evolution and its unlock item is tied to the paid Season 1 track, a Wisptis you send down the Dark branch cannot be walked back later.

Confirming the evolution worked

The evolution animation is followed by three checks you can make immediately. The creature’s stage flips from Lumin to Nova, its height jumps from 0.8m to 1.65m for Ignitis or 1.5m for Fulmintis, and its Pathfinding upgrades from Fly Lv. 1 to Fly Lv. 2. A new Aniilog entry is also registered, so the old Wisptis page stops being the only one filled in for that line.

The clearest tell is the element icon. An Ignitis stays Dark, while a Fulmintis reads as Electric and its basic attack changes from a close-range darkness strike to a close-range lightning strike that contributes to BREAK.

BREAK435250

Ignitis is the sturdier of the two on defense and trades slightly higher BREAK for lower EP regen. Fulmintis wins on raw offense and sustain, and its EP regen pairs directly with Electro Stash, since crits refund energy that its Energy-hungry slash chain immediately eats again.

Ignitis skills

  • ATK (Dark, power 6) — close-range attack using dark power.
  • Dark Dash (Dark, power 25, 10 EP) — shadow tackle that raises basic attack damage by 40% for 10s.
  • Scythe Dance (Dark, power 60, 20 EP) — spinning multi-hit slash that stacks up to 32% bonus damage for 10s.
  • Dark Soul (Dark, power 50, 20 EP) — teleports to a target, scaling up against enemies under 50% HP, with a free recast on a kill.
  • Dimension Rupture (Dark, power 170, 8s cooldown) — innate cleave through space for heavy Physical damage.

Fulmintis skills

  • ATK (Electric, power 6) — close-range lightning attack that feeds BREAK.
  • Lightning Surge (Electric, 18s cooldown, no EP cost) — a support recharge that raises Lightning teammates’ basic attack damage and BREAK efficiency for a time.
  • Lightning Rush (Electric, power 35, 10 EP) — dashes in and burns Energy on consecutive slashes, ending in a Spinning Slash worth 26 Might damage.
  • Lightning Blade Impact (Electric, power 45, 20 EP, 15s cooldown) — hold to aim and fire two Electric Blade Shock Waves; critical hits apply Paralysis.
  • Thunder Lance (Electric, power 180) — innate line attack that hits multiple times and paralyzes targets for 1.5 seconds.

Regional and Prismana forms in the Wisptis line

Form carries through the evolution, so a Forest Wisptis becomes a Forest Ignitis and a Highland Wisptis becomes a Highland Ignitis. That also matters for the win streak, since the three defeats have to be against Wisptis of your own Form.

FormElementsWhere it appears
Wisptis (Forest)Dark, GrassThe Mistwoods, Lv 35–37
Wisptis (Highland Form)Dark, FireBlitzwood Lv 40–45; Zephyrus Landbridge Lv 47–57
Ignitis (Forest)Dark, GrassThe Mistwoods
Ignitis (Highland Form)Dark, FireBlitzwood; Zephyrus Landbridge
Ignitis (Prismana)Dark, FireBerylline Vale
Fulmintis (Prismana)Electric, HolyEvolution only

Three skills in this family are locked to specific forms. Forest Whirl, the Grass version of the spinning slash, belongs to the Forest Wisptis and Forest Ignitis only. Fire Dash is exclusive to Ignitis (Prismana), and Enhanced Light Blade, a Holy buff that raises skill crit rate for a time rather than dealing damage, is exclusive to Fulmintis (Prismana). The basic forms do not learn any of them.

Element matchups for Dark and Electric

The branch changes who you can safely point the creature at. Dark attacks hit Electric, Grass and Holy targets for 1.6x damage and drop to 0.625x against Water and Wind. Electric attacks hit Water and Wind for 1.6x and fall to 0.625x against Electric, Ice and Rock. Everything else takes normal damage.

The two halves of this family cover opposite gaps. Dark struggles exactly where Electric thrives, so keeping one of each on the roster removes most of the bad matchups this line would otherwise face.

If you are only ever going to raise one, the practical question is whether you own the Advanced Edition of the Season 1 Companion Handbook. Without the Fulminous Soul, Ignitis is the only branch on the table, and the win streak costs nothing but time in Berylline Vale after dark.
