There is a faster way. By pairing a Fire-attribute buff from Wixen with five fully loaded Legendary Beam Launchers, you can burn through the boss’s health and shield before it gets a chance to punish you.

Quick answer: Summon a Level 80 Wixen to trigger its Lord Fox partner skill, which converts your attacks to Fire and raises your Attack, then fire five pre-loaded Legendary Beam Launchers back to back instead of reloading. The swap kills the Level 80 boss in roughly eight seconds.

Why cycling five Beam Launchers beats reloading

The Beam Launcher fires a high-density beam that explodes over a wide area, but it overheats during rapid fire and needs to cool down. Once a launcher reads “Weapon Overheated,” you lose precious time. Carrying five Legendary Beam Launchers in your weapon slots sidesteps that entirely. As soon as one overheats, you swap to the next and keep the damage flowing without a single reload gap.

The Legendary version does far more damage than the common one, which is what makes the burst strategy work against a boss with a five-figure health pool and a heavy shield.
