Steal an Egg: How to Unlock the Scorched Dragon (Secret Egg)

The Scorched Dragon is the Secret pet at the top of the current Steal an Egg update, and it produces +$22B per second once it lands in your nest. Getting it comes down to one thing: hatching the Secret Egg, a 3,240,000Kg egg tied to the Dragon’s Lair event. Everything else is the work you do to reach that egg.

Quick answer: Place the Secret Egg (3,240,000Kg) in your nest and let its 3-hour growth timer finish, or skip the timer with Robux. When it hatches, the Secret Scorched Dragon appears at 3,240,000Kg and starts earning +$22B/s.

Scorched Dragon and Secret Egg requirements

The Scorched Dragon sits in the Secret rarity tier. It is not pulled from a normal biome nest. Instead, you earn the Secret Egg through the Dragon’s Lair event, then hatch it at your base. Note the weight and the timer before you start, because both decide how long the process takes.

Win the giant egg in the Dragon’s Lair

Only one giant egg exists per server, so the Dragon’s Lair turns into a scramble the moment it opens. The lair is a lava-filled zone, and other players will try to knock the egg out of your hands on the way home.

Enter the Dragon’s Lair when the “FIGHT FOR THE EGG” prompt appears. There is a single giant grey-and-yellow egg to grab.

Fend off rival players. A baseball bat clears space, and a trap item can pin an opponent long enough for you to slip past with the egg.

Carry the egg straight back to your nest without dropping it. If another player steals it or a trap makes you drop it, you lose the run for that server.

Return dragon eggs during the timed event

When the “Dragon Lair has opened!” event runs, all eggs reset and purple dragon eggs spawn inside the lair. Your job is to steal them and bring them back to your nest while dodging the dragon’s fire breath.

Collect and return 6 purple dragon eggs. The counter tracks your progress with a “Dragon Eggs returned” tally.

After 6 returns, your dragon egg hatches. That reward is the Mythic Pterodactyl at 1,135Kg, confirmed by the “Your Dragon Egg hatched from 6 returned eggs!” message.

Hatch the Secret Egg to unlock the Scorched Dragon

The Secret Egg is the one that matters for this pet. It weighs 3,240,000Kg and carries a 3-hour growth timer once it is placed at your base.

Place the Secret Egg (3,240,000Kg) in your nest. You can equip a strong earner such as the Mythic Shadow Dragon (224,258Kg, $170.1M/s) in the meantime to keep income high.

Wait out the 3-hour growth time, or spend Robux to skip it. A successful skip returns a “Purchase successful! Thank you so much!” message.

Confirm the unlock. When the egg finishes, the Secret Scorched Dragon hatches at 3,240,000Kg and its income line reads +$22B/s. Once it shows up in your pet list, the unlock is done.

Note: The most common reason the Scorched Dragon does not appear is an unfinished timer. If you neither waited the full 3 hours nor completed the Robux skip, the Secret Egg stays as an egg and the pet will not hatch.

Cherry Blossom biome and the Sakura Incubator

The Cherry Blossom biome is a mystery zone that reveals itself when night falls. It recommends a Speed stat of 2.5B to move through it, and inside you will find a sleeping white beast plus the Sakura Incubator.

The Sakura Incubator starts sealed. To open it, you need to return the Crane, shown by the “Sealed – return the Crane” and “Hatch and Return Crane” prompts next to the Dormant Sakura Tree.

Monsters are coming event

A teaser cutscene points to a “MONSTERS ARE COMING…” event, shown with a countdown of nearly seven days in-game. The event is scheduled to begin on Aug 29, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT and end on Aug 30, 2026 at 8:00 AM PT.

If you want the Scorched Dragon, the priority stays the same. Win the giant egg, return your dragon eggs, and finish the Secret Egg’s growth timer. Once the +$22B/s line shows up on the pet, you have it.
