In Steal An Egg, the biggest and rarest eggs get snatched almost the instant they spawn, and on a busy server you are usually competing with players who already have hundreds of millions of speed. Server hopping sidesteps that entirely. By moving into servers with one AFK or very slow player, you become the fastest person there and every big egg is effectively yours to collect.
Quick answer: Leave your current game, open the game’s Servers tab, sort by Fewest Players, then join a public server that has a single low-speed or AFK player. Run to the end of each zone during an egg reset to claim the large eggs before anyone else can.
Why server hopping works in Steal An Egg
The game rewards speed. Whoever reaches an egg first grabs it, and other players can even steal an egg out of your hands while you carry it back to your base. On a full server, anyone with a high speed stat clears the high-value eggs the moment they appear, which leaves the nests empty by the time you get there.
An almost-empty server removes that competition. If the only other player is standing still or has a low speed number, there is nobody to beat you to the spawn. You can walk to the end of any zone and collect the largest eggs without a race. Bigger eggs hatch into bigger pets, and bigger pets pay out more money every second, so this loop is the fastest way to build income early on.
How to find a low-population server
Note: A player showing something like 15 million or 151 million speed is fine to share a server with, since you can outrun them. It is the players with billions of speed or oversized pets you want to avoid.
Where the big eggs spawn
Large eggs appear at the end of the map zones, and they refresh on the day and night cycle. When the timer resets, an ALL EGG RESET! prompt fires and new eggs drop into the nests. Wait out the reset in your quiet server, then sweep the zones to grab whatever spawned.
The zones run from early to late tiers, and the higher biomes hold the more valuable eggs and pets.

Big finds turn up in the deeper zones. A large dinosaur egg spawns in Prehistoric, a red fire egg spawns in the Volcano, and Cherry Blossom holds its own decent-sized eggs. Once you grab an egg, run it straight back to your base and deposit it in your pen so nobody can take it from you.
Securing secret eggs on empty servers
Secret eggs are the rarest spawns and often carry the highest-paying pets. They drop at random during resets, and an announcement flags them in the chat window. On a busy server, faster players almost always reach them first.
Staying in a server with a single AFK or slow player flips that. When a secret egg spawns, you are the only active player able to reach it, so it is effectively guaranteed to be yours. Keep an eye on the chat after every reset and rush the announced egg the moment it appears.
If the idle player starts moving and becomes active again, hop out and repeat the server search. The method only holds while you remain the fastest person in the lobby.
Turning eggs into money
Eggs only pay once they hatch. Bring them back, drop them in your pen, and let them grow into pets that generate income every second. Featured pets like Belula Beluga pull in around $40K per second, and the game also hands out offline earnings, with prompts such as Offline Claim! $40M and You earn $14B/Day offline! showing how much the loop compounds over time.
Upgrading your pen matters here, because it decides how many and how strong the pets you can hold are. A bigger pen means more high-value pets equipped at once, which raises your total money per second.

How to know it is working
You know the method is landing when you reach a zone’s end nest and the big egg is still there for you to grab, rather than an empty nest. Deposited eggs show a countdown timer in your pen, and once they hatch, your money per second climbs. Watch your income number and your leaderboard placement rise as bigger pets come online.
The most common reason the method fails is joining the wrong server. If you keep landing in lobbies with fast players or oversized pets, the nests will already be empty. When that happens, back out immediately, re-sort by Fewest Players, and pick a single-player public server with a low or idle player before running the zones again.
