Piggy Secret Badge — How to Get It in The Hunt: Roblox 20

Piggy hides a second event badge behind a chain of interactions that most players never trigger during a normal round. It only works on one map, it starts with a tool whose spawn point changes every match, and it ends in a darker copy of the house that has its own set of puzzles to solve before the front door opens.

Quick answer: On House – Chapter 1, use the wrench on the basement safe, press the small button beside it for the shovel, dig behind the well, enter the grandfather clock, then escape the dark house.

Requirements before you start the Piggy secret badge

The hidden route has a narrow set of conditions. Miss one and the chain simply does not start.

Launch Piggy through the portal in the 2021 section of The Hunt hub.
The map must be House – Chapter 1 — no other Book One map contains the route.
Vote for Bot mode if you are playing alone. Player mode works if you bring an alternate account.
Tool spawns in Piggy are randomized, so the wrench will not be in the same room twice.

Reaching the 2021 portal also depends on the event’s structure. The Hunt: Roblox 20 runs chronologically from 2006 to 2025, and each year unlocks only after the previous one is claimed at the hub, so Piggy sits behind fifteen earlier completions.

Earlier years are short by comparison. Sword Fights on the Heights IV in 2007 asks for four different swords, including the one you spawn with, while Natural Disaster Survival in 2011 requires three animals rescued and returned to the pen.

How to reach the hidden time machine in House – Chapter 1

Start the round and search the house for the wrench. It can appear anywhere, including the basement, so open locked doors as you would in a normal escape run until you find it.

Carry the wrench down to the basement and use it on the grey safe. This is the same interaction you would normally use during a standard round, and it is the trigger that makes the next step available.

Look at the floor and wall right next to the safe and click the small brown button. A shovel appears once the button is pressed.

Take the shovel outside to the backyard and dig the dirt patch behind the well, near the fence. Digging opens a hole in the ground.

Drop into the hole and follow the underground tunnel to its end. A grandfather clock stands there, functioning as a time machine. Step inside it to teleport.

Nothing in this chain protects you from Piggy, so watch your position while you are digging and while you run the tunnel.

Escaping the alternate House map

The time machine drops you into a dark version of the same house. The layout is familiar, but the puzzle chain is its own, and the badge only fires once you are out the front door.

Work through the early section, including the vents, and pick up the blue key. Use it to unlock the shed in the backyard and take the battery inside.

Use the green key on the closet and pull out the ladder. Place the ladder where it gives you access to the attic.

Grab the wrench in this version of the map, climb to the attic, and interact with the Electrical Box to deactivate it.

With the puzzles cleared, unlock the front door and run out. A cutscene plays as soon as the escape registers.

How to confirm the secret badge unlocked

The cutscene at the front door is followed by a Badge Awarded popup from the Piggy Dev Team listing the R20 – ??? award, alongside an event banner reading “Congratulations! You’ve completed the quest for Piggy!”. If you escape and see no popup, the hidden chain did not register and the run needs to be repeated from the wrench step.

The same hidden route existed in The Hunt: First Edition, where escaping awarded The Hunt badge and a secret Gold Trackstar accessory that was claimed from an NPC in the hub’s 2021 area. If a hub NPC offers a secret item after your escape, that is where it is collected.

The secret badge is separate from the main Piggy quest

The standard 2021 objective is much lighter. It asks you to escape two Book One maps, and you do not have to solve the puzzles yourself — following a lobby that knows the map and leaving through the exit counts. Clearing it awards Willow’s Legacy Hood at the hub and unlocks the 2022 year.

Piggy’s Hunt storyline is a third, separate thing again. It opens with Finley crashing a time machine through a wall and inviting you along, then strands the group in an old village where the machine has to be repaired before you can warp onward.

That mode runs through a castle era where you hunt numbered clue notes and set time coordinates, then a modern apartment block ending in a vault puzzle and a golden egg. None of it feeds the hidden House – Chapter 1 badge, so do not mistake it for the secret route.

Badges are granted once per account, so a successful escape through the grandfather clock is all you need — replaying House – Chapter 1 afterwards adds nothing. The Hunt: Roblox 20 closes on September 28, 2026, which is the deadline for both the secret badge and the rest of the 20-year progression.
