Marvel Rivals: Jeff’s Superstar Search Day 9 Star Location

The ninth star in Jeff’s Superstar Search sits on Hellfire Bay Beach, tucked under the wooden pier that holds the X-Press Juice stand. It is one of the harder stars to spot because it rests low in the plants and roots directly beneath the deck rather than out in the open.

Quick answer: Travel to Hellfire Bay Beach, go to the pier boardwalk with the X-Press Juice stand, then drop under the deck into the roots and foliage at the base of the palm tree and press the interact prompt to collect the star.

Day 9 clue and your two options

Each day gives you a single star and two ways to earn it. You only need one method, and you cannot claim two stars in the same day by doing both.

The Day 9 Scene Star Search clue reads: “By the roots of an island tree bound by railing, an eager shark waits to sprout from the sand and become a Superstar.” That points to the palm tree roots under the railed pier deck on Hellfire Bay Beach.

A separate route to the star is to win three times in Quick Match, then Competitive, then Arcade, or alternatively Practice vs. AI.

How to find the Day 9 star on Hellfire Bay Beach

Go to Events and open Jeff’s Superstar Search. From its page, pick “To Hellfire Bay Beach” to enter the correct social map directly.

After landing on the beach, head toward the wooden pier boardwalk that carries the X-Press Juice stand. This is the “pavilion embraced by waves” area of the map, and the star sits beneath it.

Drop over the railing into the green foliage between the boardwalk platforms, or walk in under the wooden deck. The star is in the shaded patch surrounded by palm tree trunks, roots, and dense plants directly below the stand.

Look for the glowing star sitting in the roots and bushes under the deck. Aim at it until the interact prompt appears, then press it to collect the star.

A hero with strong vertical or gliding mobility makes the trip down from the boardwalk faster, but any character can reach the spot on foot by walking underneath the deck.

Match Star Hunting: the alternative to the clue

If you would rather play matches, the daily Match Star Hunting objective grants the same star. You need three wins across any mix of the eligible modes.

Arcade
Practice vs. AI

Both routes give one star only, so pick whichever is faster for you. Finding the hidden star is usually quicker, while the match route fits days when you already plan to play.

Confirming the star and the daily reset

After you interact with the star, the collection registers immediately and your Superstar progress updates on the main menu. Return to the event page to see the new star counted toward your total.

The mission refreshes every day, so each clue is only available for a 24-hour window before the next one appears. You need 10 stars in total to finish the Superstar and claim all rewards, and the event runs until October 9, which leaves room to miss a few days and still complete it.
