Mine the dark ashen rock of Cinder’s Cradle with a pickaxe, then spend it on road blocks, fertile dirt, plant pots and three Eternal spells.

Introduced with Enshrouded 1.0, Cinder’s Cradle is a volcanic region where Cinder Rock, an ash-gray stone, covers the terrain and exposed rock faces. Its in-game description reads, “Rough, ashen stone found in abundance across Cinder’s Cradle.” Mine it with a pickaxe. It is used for numerous building blocks, terrain materials, plant pots, and endgame Eternal spells.

Quick answer: Travel to Cinder’s Cradle, equip a pickaxe, and mine the dark ashen rock. Each swing drops Cinder Rock straight into your inventory, and it stacks up to 1000.

Where to mine Cinder Rock in Cinder’s Cradle

Cinder Rock comes from Cinder’s Cradle. It does not drop from enemies, chests, or vendors, and there is no crafting recipe for it. A single mining trip fills a stack quickly because of its 1000 stack size.

Unlock Cinder’s Cradle and travel to the region.
Equip a pickaxe.
Swing at the dark ashen rock. Each hit adds Cinder Rock to your inventory.
