Greenshade Village in Qingzhou has an Injustice quest that has nothing to do with swords. In Courtesy: Gift-Bearing Trip, an Inkbound Order disciple named Zhang Sisi asks you to haul a handcart of presents around the village and up to Sageplow Stead. At each house you have to win a polite tug-of-war over whether the gift gets accepted. The quest stays hidden until you clear one specific Encounter first.
Quick answer: Complete the Qingzhou Encounter “Return, O Soul,” then talk to Zhang Sisi near Greenshade Village. Deliver gifts to five recipients and win each Courtesy duel to earn Grade A.
Unlock requirement: The “Return, O Soul” Encounter
Courtesy: Gift-Bearing Trip does not appear until you finish the Encounter “Return, O Soul”. That Encounter is listed under Qingzhou in the Encounter Journal. If Zhang Sisi isn’t offering anything when you walk past, check the journal and clear that Encounter first.
Once the Encounter is done, the quest appears as an Exploration Quest with the objective “Talk to Zhang Sisi.” The quest blurb mentions a disciple near Crowleek Terrace who is struggling with an Inkbound Order course that demands a lot of internal energy. That disciple is Zhang Sisi. You’ll find Zhang Sisi standing on the road through Greenshade Village, close to Sageplow Stead and Crowleek Terrace.
Starting the quest and moving the handcart
Every delivery follows the same loop: pull the cart, park it, unload, then gift. Once you’ve done it once, the other stops go quickly.

There are five gift recipients and six duels in total. The fourth stop includes a second duel that works in reverse.

The first two stops are both in the village. Sun Mangzi lives on the far side of town from Li Dabai.
Next, drag the cart uphill toward Sageplow Stead. On the way, Liu Wutong and Zhang Sisi have a short exchange about pine mushrooms. You don’t need to do anything during it. Wang Xiulian’s home sits past a yard of geese and cats, and her gift is dried fish for the cats. After that, take the cart down into Yan Dacong’s muddy courtyard. Zhao Xiaogang is waiting there too. Finally, bring the cart to the teacher Lu Wenxin, whose package contains a farming text and brush rests.
How the Courtesy duel works
Courtesy is a rhythm-based exchange built around good manners: one side tries to hand over a gift and the other politely refuses. A blue-versus-red gauge sits at the top of the screen with both characters’ portraits on it. Timed button presses and directional prompts push that gauge toward your side. You have to win the gauge before the timer runs out.
The duel runs in one of two modes, and the on-screen objective tells you which one you’re in:
- Gift Giver: “Give all gifts to the recipient!” This mode is used for Li Dabai, Sun Mangzi, Wang Xiulian, Yan Dacong, and Lu Wenxin.
- Gift Refuser: “Refuse all gifts from the giver!” This mode is used only for Zhao Xiaogang, who tries to send you home with leeks.
The Zhao Xiaogang duel starts immediately after you win against Yan Dacong. Expect the objective to flip from giving to refusing without a break in between.
Grade thresholds and rewards
Your grade depends on how many people actually received a gift. To get the top grade, you need all five recipients.

Completing the run awards Echo Jade x20, Jade Fish x25, and Stored EXP x450. Coins are paid out in separate notifications of x450, x750, and x1500. Qingzhou Exploration also goes up, with separate +5 and +10 notifications.
How to confirm Courtesy: Gift-Bearing Trip is complete
After the Lu Wenxin duel, a results screen reading “Completed – Gift Delivery” shows your grade. That screen doesn’t end the quest yet. Go back and talk to Zhang Sisi one more time. The quest is done when the “CourtesySuccess – Courtesy: Gift-Bearing Trip” notification appears, along with a “Courtesy New Entry” for Wuxian Quest Knowledge and the reward pop-ups listed above.
