Sealed dungeons in AION 2 are short solo instances tucked into caves, ruins, and hideouts across the open world. Each one takes a few minutes, needs no party, and pays out a fixed bundle of progression materials. Wisdom Stones level your skills and Daevanion Crystals feed the Daevanion board. That payout is why you should clear them as you level instead of saving them for later.

Quick answer: Open the map, filter by Exploration, go to a sealed dungeon icon or question mark, interact with the entrance pedestal, pick Enter, and finish the tracked objective to get the Completion Rewards screen.

Sealed dungeon rewards per clear

Every sealed dungeon in Verteron and Altgard pays the same set of rewards on completion. The only differences are the title, which is unique to each dungeon, and the wing scrap, which depends on your faction.

Titles carry small stat bonuses. Kowutin’s Cave in Verteron, for example, awards the title Pruning Expert, which grants Attack Bonus +1. Clearing sealed dungeons also counts toward the Daeva gauge in quest progression, so they fit naturally into a leveling route.

Finding sealed dungeons on the AION 2 map

There are more than a hundred sealed dungeons spread across Verteron, Eltnen, Altgard, and Morheim. Elyos dungeons sit in Verteron and Eltnen, and Asmodian dungeons sit in Altgard and Morheim. Open the world map and set the filter to Exploration to see them.

  • A discovered sealed dungeon shows as a circular, patterned portal icon.
  • An undiscovered one shows as a question mark labeled Undiscovered Area.
  • Some question marks turn out to be Strongholds rather than sealed dungeons.
  • Selecting a dungeon icon shows its description and loot highlights.
  • The Exploration tab lists discovered and undiscovered sealed dungeons by name, with a completion counter.

Each faction’s dungeons are in its own territory. To reach the other side’s maps, you use rifts into opposite faction areas. A practical approach is to clear the dungeons you pass while leveling, then sweep the remaining question marks once you reach level 45.

How to enter and clear a sealed dungeon

Travel to the dungeon’s entrance in the open world. The entrance is marked with a glowing portal and a name label, such as Kowutin’s Cave Entrance.
Interact with the pedestal at the entrance. This opens an info panel with the dungeon description, its recommended level, and the Basic Rewards list.
Check the recommended level, then select Enter. Kowutin’s Cave, for reference, recommends level 21.

Check the tracker at screen-right for your current goal. In many dungeons, you only need to defeat every enemy; others also feature a boss or a small puzzle.

Complete whatever the tracker asks for. In Scribe’s Room, for example, you read a Crumpled Note from a corpse, get past red laser barriers, use Lock Mechanisms, defeat the boss Mortal, and then interact with the Zumion Tablet to finish.
Collect your loot from the Completion Rewards screen and click Confirm to leave the instance.

You know the clear counted when the Completion Rewards screen appears and a “Title acquired” message names the dungeon’s title. The dungeon’s map icon also counts toward the completion counter in the Exploration tab.

Spending Wisdom Stones and Daevanion Crystals

Both materials need one more action before they do anything. Wisdom Stones are spent in the Skill menu to raise your class skills. A skill leveled this way shows the bonus next to its level, as in Snipe Lv. 10 (+2).

Daevanion Crystal (Bound) has to be used from your inventory first. Each crystal grants 1 Daevanion Point, and using one requires level 10. You can use them in bulk. Then open the Daevanion board with U on PC and spend the points on passive stat and combat nodes. The board is split into deity paths for Nezekan, Zikel, Vaizel, Triniel, and Kaisinel, with nodes such as Cooldown Reduction and Combat Speed.

Use these tables to plan a route by level. Where a dungeon has a named boss, the boss and its level appear next to the dungeon name.

Eltnen and Morheim (Chapter 1)

Eltnen and Morheim arrive with the Chapter 1 update, which covers levels 45 to 50. That update is live in Korea and Taiwan but is not in the global version as of October 2026, so global players cannot run these yet.

Every Verteron and Altgard dungeon pays the same materials, so the order you clear them in matters less than clearing all of them. Start with the ones at or below your level and work up. The crystals and stones from each run feed directly into your skills and Daevanion board.
