Anime Zero’s Update 4, released on October 17th, 2026, added two Solo Leveling and Wuthering Waves–flavored kits at once. Chisa arrived as Crimson Eclipse. Cha Hae-In arrived as Solar Radiance, a sword-based weapon that never appears in Arsenal spins. She is tied entirely to a new raid, Evil Reflection. Her raw kit is good, but the reason many players are chasing her over Chisa is a cinematic tag-team ultimate she shares with an awakened Sung Jin-Woo.
Quick answer: Solar Radiance drops from the Evil Reflection raid on Nightmare. Awakening her takes raid materials plus 8M Coins and 15,000 Gems. Success shows the message “You unlocked an Ultimate for Solar Radiance.”
Solar Radiance in Anime Zero Update 4
In Anime Zero, characters are equipped as weapons, and the in-game name rarely matches the anime name. Cha Hae-In is listed only as Solar Radiance, and her evolved form is Solar Radiance (Awakened). Community PvE rankings place her in the S tier, one step below the SS group of Ye-0, Shadow Monarch, and Astral Blossom, and alongside Chisa’s Crimson Eclipse.
| Detail | Solar Radiance |
|---|---|
| Character | Cha Hae-In (Solo Leveling) |
| Source | Evil Reflection raid, Nightmare |
| Weapon drop | 2%, with a 35-clear pity counter |
| Awakening currency | 8M Coins, 15K Gems |
| Duo partner | Awakened Shadow Monarch |
The pity counter matters here. A 2 percent drop alone could mean dozens of runs, but the reward preview tracks clears and caps the dry streak at 35.

Add to Google Preferences →Evil Reflection raid: Difficulties and Nightmare drops
Evil Reflection runs on four difficulties: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Nightmare. Only Nightmare carries Cha Hae-In and her awakening materials. Players can queue alone or with a partner, and a full clear on Nightmare pays out $29K Coins and 580 EXP Crystals before any lucky drops.

| Nightmare reward | Drop rate | Amount |
|---|---|---|
| Full clear | Guaranteed | $29K Coins, 580 EXP Crystals |
| Pure Quill | 2.5% | x1–2 |
| Pure Sword Shards | 15% | x1–2 |
| Pure Sword Shards (second line) | 20% | x1–2 |
| Solar Radiance | 2% | Pity at 35 clears |
Pure Quill is the bottleneck. At 2.5 percent, it is the rarest material on the board, and its item text reads “Used to awaken Solar Radiance,” so it has no other purpose. Hunter’s Star, another awakening ingredient, also comes out of Nightmare Evil Reflection.
Waves and Mirror Blessings
A run has five waves. The first four throw hostile mobs and afterimages at the party, and between waves the raid offers Mirror Blessing cards that stack buffs for the rest of the run.

- Twin Breaker (Epic): +50% damage to the Evil Twin and its afterimages.
- Sharper Edge (Common): +35% damage.
- Mirror Leech (Rare): each hit heals 0.6% health, capped at 4% per second.
- Big Heart (Common): +40% max health.
- Glass Cannon: a damage-focused pick commonly taken first.
Damage cards tend to win out over survivability ones, with Glass Cannon, Twin Breaker, Sharper Edge, and Mirror Leech as the usual priority order.
Evil M_K, the wave 5 boss
Wave 5 is the evil twin, named Evil M_K, who summons additional enemies as its health drops. During these phases the boss turns immune, so damage has to go into the summons until the immunity ends. One recorded Nightmare clear with two players took 3 minutes and 14 seconds, with the lead player dealing 3.89M damage.

Because the rare drops are rolled per clear, getting Cha Hae-In awakened means repeating this boss many times. Any strong main works for the grind, and players commonly run Astra (Astral Blossom) in the secondary slot for her damage aura.

Solar Radiance awakening cost
Owning Solar Radiance does not unlock her ultimate. That comes from awakening her in the Evolution menu, which pulls from both Story mode and the raid.
| Material | Amount | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Fine Cloth | 40 | All Story chapters |
| Soul Fragment | 25 | Story Chapter 1 |
| Magic Pendant | 15 | Story Chapter 1 |
| Pure Sword Shards | 25 | Evil Reflection, Nightmare |
| Hunter’s Star | 15 | Evil Reflection, Nightmare |
| Pure Quill | 8 | Evil Reflection, Nightmare |
| Coins | 8,000,000 | Codes and mode rewards |
| Gems | 15,000 | Codes and mode rewards |
Some Evolution screens recorded after launch show nine requirement slots, with 20 Pure Sword Shards and 9 Pure Quills instead of 25 and 8. The in-game Evolution menu shows the exact recipe for your account, so check it before counting quills.
Once every slot is filled, the Evolve Character button converts her into Solar Radiance (Awakened). The game confirms it with the message “You unlocked an Ultimate for Solar Radiance,” and the hub model switches to a glowing blade with a visible aura.

Awakened Solar Radiance moveset
Cha Hae-In plays as a fast sword main built around follow-up inputs. Several of her skills put a second prompt on screen, and the extra damage only lands if you stay on the weapon long enough to press it.
- M1: quick, extended light slashes.
- Z skill: a multi-hit dash with an EXTEND follow-up.
- C skill (Volley): a targeted projectile barrage for isolated enemies.
- Ultimate: a cutscene into a wide burst of light and fire slashes.
The ultimate’s red, fiery slashes have drawn comparisons to Hu Tao’s ultimate in the same game. Volley gives her a way to reach separated targets, while the dash and M1 string handle packs that stay in front of her.

Cha Hae-In and Sung Jin-Woo duo ultimate
Update 4 also introduced a Tag Team Synergy Ultimate between Solar Radiance and Shadow Monarch. With awakened Cha Hae-In in the main slot and an awakened, developed Sung Jin-Woo in the secondary slot, using her ultimate opens a follow-up that plays a joint cinematic combo, complete with Jin-Woo’s shadow summons.
The pairing only works one way. With Shadow Monarch in the primary slot, the synergy does not trigger, so Cha Hae-In has to be the active weapon. Shadow Monarch is its own long project, dropping from Nightmare Shadow Gate and needing Monarch Path stages for Igris and its later attacks, so the duo is realistic mostly for players who already built him.
Season 1 Season Pass items tied to Cha Hae-In
Update 4 shipped alongside Season 1 of the Season Pass, with Free and Premium tracks. A few of its tiers overlap with Solar Radiance’s awakening, which is the main reason to look at it if she is your goal.
| Tier | Reward |
|---|---|
| 25 | Hunter’s Star |
| 30 | Immortal Sovereign (Mythic) |
| 33 | Tech Component |
| 34 | Emote |
| 45 | Magic Pendant |
Hunter’s Star is described in-game as the badge Cha Hae-In received when she reached S-rank, and Magic Pendant is another awakening ingredient. Outside those materials, the pass has drawn criticism from players who see little else of value in it.
Solar Radiance vs. Chisa (Crimson Eclipse)
Both Update 4 units occupy the same tier, though obtaining them involves different grinds. To make Chisa, gather 8 Shear Fragments, then 10 Crimson Ribbon, and 5 Thread Choker in Tidal High-Rise on Nightmare; awakening her takes 6.5M Coins and 13.5K Gems. Cha Hae-In instead has a 2 percent drop chance with pity protection, and her awakening costs a little more. Chisa fights up close with multiple melee hits, whereas Cha Hae-In combines sword follow-ups and a ranged Volley. If your Shadow Monarch is not developed, pick the raid you can complete more consistently. If you already have him, Cha Hae-In is required for the duo ultimate.
