Quick answer: Rain and Lasswell are already together when Chapter 1 begins. After leaving Grandshelt Castle, you meet Fina on the road west of the royal capital. Lid, Sakura, Nichol and Jake have not joined at that point.

That same screen shows each skill alongside the level that unlocks it, plus the stats he gains on that level-up. Infinity Drive is Rain’s Limit Burst, and it’s the move that brings down Hell’s Rider.

Fina
Fina shows up during the Grandshelt Castle walkthrough section, rescuing Rain once the Umbra fight is over. She tells him she can’t remember anything. She doesn’t join yet, though. That happens only after the throne-room scenes, once you leave the royal capital and walk out onto the field to the west, where she asks to travel with you.
A title card reading “The Girl Without a Past Fina” appears next, describing her as “An ingenuous girl with mysterious powers who embarks on a journey to remember her past.”

It’s followed by the popup “Fina joined the party!”, which confirms she’s now a party member.

In the battle that follows, Rain, Lasswell and Fina make up your party, with Fina shown in the third position on the party panel. Her stats in that first fight are HP 319 and MP 93.

Fina’s LEVEL UP screen lists her ROLE as Medic. At Lv.7, she has 394 HP and 99 MP; her highest attribute is Mag. Def. 96. Holy Ray and Shining Arrow are her Lv.1 skills, and she learns Cure at Lv.3.

Guests and Visions are not party members
During the Hell’s Rider fight at Grandshelt Castle, Charlotte assists as a guest but does not become a party member. Visions aren’t party members either. Tronn and Leah are Visions, and you equip Visions to characters: Tronn went to Rain and Leah to Lasswell. In battle, each equipped Vision appears beside its wielder and provides its own skills without using a party slot.
