Palworld 1.0: How to Get the Celestial Sigil and Summon the Moon Lord

Clear the Sealed Realm of Terraria for the schematic, then craft the sigil with 100 Hallowed Bar.

Clear the Sealed Realm of Terraria for the schematic, then craft the sigil with 100 Hallowed Bar.

The Celestial Sigil is an Epic consumable added to Palworld in the Tides of Terraria update, and it exists for one purpose: you place it inside a Summoning Altar to call in the Moon Lord, the Terraria crossover raid boss. It does not drop from enemies and it cannot be bought from merchants. You craft it yourself, but only after you unlock its schematic.

Quick answer: Clear the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon and defeat the Eye of Cthulhu, loot the two chests in the exit room for the Celestial Sigil Schematic, then craft each sigil at a workbench for 100 Hallowed Bar and drop it into a Summoning Altar.

What you need before crafting a Celestial Sigil

Two things gate the sigil. The first is the schematic, which is a one-time unlock that stays in your inventory permanently. The second is Hallowed Bar, which you spend every time you make a new sigil. Both come from the same place, so a single run through the Terraria dungeon can hand you the recipe and a stack of the metal.

Reach the Sealed Realm of Terraria dungeon

Travel to Fisherman’s Point, the coastal village south of the volcanic region at coordinates -478, -740. This is your launch point for the dungeon.

Face the sea from the port and look at the two islands ahead of you. Head to the left island, the one marked by a Knight statue and a visible dungeon entrance, then interact with the entrance to start the run.

Beat the Eye of Cthulhu and loot the schematic

Push through the dungeon at your own pace. It is filled with Terraria enemies and chests tucked into corners, and there are no timed mechanics, so open every chest you pass to stock up on Hallowed Bar.
When you hit a dead end blocked by a yellow wall, switch to your Pickaxe and mine straight through it to continue toward the boss room.

Send out your strongest combat Pal and take on the Eye of Cthulhu, the large floating eye guarding the exit. Once its health drops low enough you can either kill or capture it; either outcome ends the fight and opens the final room.
In the exit room you will find the crystal and two glowing chests. Loot both, and the Celestial Sigil Schematic drops from each of them.

Craft the Celestial Sigil at your base

Return to base and open any qualifying crafting station, such as a Primitive Workbench, a High-Quality Workbench, or a Production Assembly Line I or II. The Celestial Sigil recipe only shows up while the schematic sits in your inventory.
Select the Celestial Sigil and pay the crafting cost of 100 Hallowed Bar per sigil. Crafting does not use up the schematic, so you can make as many sigils as your Hallowed Bar stockpile allows.

Use the sigil to summon the Moon Lord

Build a Summoning Altar in a safe, secluded part of your base before you commit a sigil. Interact with the altar and move the Celestial Sigil into its open slot, then approach the altar again to start the ritual. A massive boss, the Moon Lord, spawns for the fight.

You will know the process worked when the sigil leaves your inventory into the altar and the Moon Lord appears on summoning. If the recipe never showed up at the workbench, the most common reason is that you are not carrying the Celestial Sigil Schematic yet, so run the dungeon and grab it from the exit chests first.

The Master version and repeat farming

Because the schematic is permanent, the Celestial Sigil becomes a renewable ticket to farm the Moon Lord as long as you keep feeding it Hallowed Bar. Defeating the boss can also drop the Celestial Sigil (Master), a Legendary consumable that works the same way in the altar but summons a far tougher version of the Moon Lord. That harder fight demands a stronger Pal lineup and better preparation, and it pays out with noticeably better rewards.
