East Plains is a named place in the east of Spaceport. Communications Tower sits about 80 m away, with Container Storage and Service Buildings further off at about 260 m and 290 m.
In an ordinary round there is a single loot spot here, a Worn Backpack, and it is not filled every round. An ARC Turbine can spawn on the plains, though not in every round. The Gondola Prototype quest object is also here, so expect to pass through when that quest is active.
The quickest way out is East Elevator, about 140 m away in a straight line. Departures Hatch and Trench Hatch East are both about 450 m off. Spaceport has more than one level, so the actual walk can run longer than those distances. Map conditions change what you find: Lush Blooms and Cold Snap rounds have 9 container spots here, and Hidden Bunker rounds have 7.
