The Mirror of Life in Exhibition Room sits in the Library. Using it saves your game and refills your healing vials. The Library has another Mirror of Life in Rhetoric Shelves.
The closest relic is Revenant's Shard, in a chest in Curiosity Cabinet. For weapons, open the chests in Condemned Shelves for the Fleuret and the Tower Shield, and the chest in Lisa's Laboratory for Durandal. You can also pick up 1 Wise Heart Fragment in Planetarium.
Carmilla is the boss fought nearest this Mirror of Life, in Observatory. Defeating Carmilla gives you The Occultist arcana and the Blood Spikes spell. Close by, look for the Organic Astrology clue in Drawing Room and the Star Chart clue in Astronomer's Office.
