In-game description

Astracite is a material that phantasms leave behind, the hardened remains of their essence. You use it to upgrade your equipment.

In the main world, 3 gathering points yield Astracite, and they cluster around Strange Corridor. The same points can also give Copper Ore, Miasmite and Silver Ore, so a gathering run there brings in more than one material. The Unmoored World has 9 more such points, grouped near Vernworth (3), Harve Village (2) and Rivage Cavern (2), with another near Underbridge Grotto. Astracite also lies loose at 5 spots ready to pick up, 4 of them around Forested Griffin's Nest and 1 near Worldsend Cavern. One treasure chest near Illdoers' Resting Place holds it. Phantasms drop it when you fight them, and Folkes sells it if you would rather buy it.
