Treasure chests hold items for you to take, and the map has 1443 of them. Wakestone Shard turns up most often, in 82 chests, followed by Panacea in 52 and Wakestone in 47, with Ferrystone, Allheal Elixir and Hunk of Rift Crystal close behind.

Vernworth has the most, with 119, then Bakbattahl with 61 and Dragonsbreath Tower with 25; 149 more named places share 913 between them. 492 chests are in Norgan or at a Lost Rites site, which belong to Dark Arisen. A chest inside a cave or dungeon sits on the map at the point directly over it, so a spot on open ground where no chest is in sight lies underground. Some chests appear only while a quest is running and are separate from these.
