In-game description

The Climbing Hook is an implement from Dark Arisen. It is a hooked line that you fix to a tether point to put up a ladder you can climb, and you can also hurl it across a gap to catch a tether point some distance away.

The map has 30 spots where it lies on the ground waiting to be picked up. The largest group is around Frozen Ravine Hollow, with 3. Castletown Campground, Mountain Stronghold, Northwall Campground and Snowfall Valley Derelict Passage each have 2 nearby, so a trip through the campgrounds or the snowy northern stretches can turn up more than one.
