A feather plucked from a griffin's wing. Can be used to enhance equipment.
In-game description

Griffin Pinion is a material, a feather taken from the wing of a griffin. You use it to upgrade your gear and make your equipment stronger.

The map has 9 spots where Griffin Pinion lies on the ground ready to pick up. Most of them sit around Dragonsbreath Tower and Forested Griffin's Nest, with 3 near each, so those places are the best targets when you go out looking for it. Deserted Lakeside Estate and Rock Wall Berme each have 1 nearby. You can also find it in 1 treasure chest. Griffins drop it as well, so bringing one down is another way to collect the feather.
