In-game description

Miasmite is a hardened residue that phantoms leave behind when they are destroyed. It belongs to the Materials category, and its purpose is upgrading your weapons and armour.

The map has 3 gathering points that give Miasmite, and they sit around Strange Corridor. In the Unmoored World, 9 gathering points give it, with 3 near Vernworth and 2 each around Harve Village and Rivage Cavern. These points can also give Copper Ore, Silver Ore and Astracite, so a mining trip there brings back more than Miasmite. For loose pickups, head to Worldsend Cavern, where 5 spots hold it lying on the ground. 2 chests contain it: 1 around Illdoers' Resting Place and 1 near Sacred Arbor. Phantoms drop it when you defeat them, and Folkes sells it if you would rather buy than hunt.
