The Seven Sprite is one of the later companions added to the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 loot pool, and it behaves differently from the ones with fixed spawns. There is no set spot on the map to visit and no boss to defeat for it. You find it by looting, and the odds are the same for everyone.
Quick answer: Open Sprite Chests to give yourself the best chance of pulling a Seven Sprite, then take it to an Extraction Site or use a Portable Extractor to lock it into your collection. There is no guaranteed location or drop, so it comes down to luck.
What the Seven Sprite does
The Seven Sprite makes all nearby enemy footsteps visible, so you and your squadmates can track opponents around you. That gives you clear information on where enemies are moving without needing to spot them directly.
It is a genuinely useful buff for reading fights and pushing with a team, though it is not among the strongest companions in the pool. If your priority is survivability or aggression, sprites like Zero Point or Demon carry more weight, but Seven fills a tracking role none of the others cover.

Add to Google Preferences →Where the Seven Sprite spawns
There is no fixed location for the Seven Sprite. Some companions this season, such as the Batman Sprite, Striker Sprite, and Boss Sprite, have guaranteed spawn spots or set methods to earn them. The Seven Sprite does not work that way.
Because of that, finding one is entirely down to random chance. How quickly you track it down will vary from match to match, and there is no way to force it to appear at a specific point on the island.
How to get the Seven Sprite through looting
Every looting method has a chance to hand you a Seven Sprite, but the odds differ a lot depending on where you look. Sprite Chests give the best chances, while regular and rare chests are far less reliable.
| Method | Chance of a Seven Sprite |
|---|---|
| Sprite Chests | Best odds for finding new sprites |
| Vaults | Good, since they usually hold at least one Sprite Chest plus rare chests |
| Regular and rare blue chests | Low, but still possible |
| Sprite Locator | Helps track down sprites and can improve your odds |
| Defeated enemy players | Pick up any sprites they were carrying, including a Seven Sprite |
| Random floor loot | Low, but sprites can wander the island anywhere |
Prioritizing Sprite Chests is the most efficient route. Vaults are also worth clearing, since they tend to contain a Sprite Chest along with other rare loot, which stacks your chances of running into a companion you have not collected yet.
Extract the Seven Sprite to keep it
Finding the Seven Sprite is only half the job. To add it permanently to your Sprite Collection, you have to extract it during the match. If you are eliminated with an unextracted sprite equipped, you lose it, and it drops for whoever takes you out.
Once the extraction completes and the sprite lands in your collection, it is yours for good. If you ever lose it in a later run, you can summon it again at the start of a match by spending Sprite Dust. Winning the match also auto-extracts any sprites still in your inventory, so a Victory Royale saves the Seven Sprite even if you never touched a terminal.
Since it comes down to luck, the fastest realistic approach is simple. Land near Sprite Chests, sweep any Vaults you can reach, keep a Sprite Locator handy, and extract the Seven Sprite the moment you get one so a bad fight doesn’t cost you the pickup.
