The Mule is a wandering merchant who stays out of other people's quarrels and takes no side, and his true name is a mystery to everybody. He deals honestly, has a cheerful nature, and has stood by Robyn ever since their time at House Camp. He moves between settlements trading goods and news, trying to stay on good terms with nearly everybody. You meet him in the wooden cabin at the foot of the Hunter's Glade tower, and as the story moves on he turns up at the Church and the Solar Power Plant too.
Talk to him and pick the trade line to open the BARGAIN screen. He sells stone tools such as the Stone Axe, Stone Pickaxe and Stone Shiv, food like Ultra Dish (H/W/E), Dish and Sugar, and drinks including Improvised Tea, Moonshine, Energy Drink and Juice, alongside Bandages, Processed Plastic, Stone and Treated Hide. His stock changes from visit to visit, so it pays to look again later.
