In-game description

Moonshine is a food and drink item that serves as a low-cost stand-in for liquor, made once Logan took control of selling drink in Metropolis. Drinking it gives Cold Resistance 20 and removes the Parasites, Infected Wound and Nasty Wound effects. Moonshine clears Parasites where Herbs will not, so carry a bottle if you pick up that effect. Traders charge 10 Bucks for it.

Moonshine spots cluster at Church, Horizon and Greenhouse, with 3 apiece. The Crater's Military Convoy has 2, and there are single spots at Hunter's Glade and Bunker 21. It can also turn up in Bags, Damaged Cars, Damaged Vans, Fridges, Frozen bodies, Insulated Crates, Military crates, Suitcases and Toolboxes, so check those as you loot. To buy it, look for Eric Hirsch, the General Trader, Sean or The Mule, who stock it.
