The item card reads as follows.
“The Baishan Sect’s sacred treasure, capable of channeling the power of wind and thunder. When both forces converge…”
“A pair of swords once wielded by Bi Taotao, Master of the Baishan Sect.”

Baishan Stormswords arts
The swords carry eight arts. Base arts are there from the start, while the ones marked with a weapon level open up as you raise the weapon’s level.
| Art | Unlocks | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Baishan Wind-Thunder Slash | Power Surge art (costs 1 Sha-Chi Essence) | “[Power Surge] Consumes 1 Sha-Chi Essence to unleash a fierce series of slashes guided by wind and edged with thunder. This attack is unblockable.” |
| Baishan’s Blessing | Base art | “When both [Wind Sword] and [Thunder Sword] are active, enter [Baishan’s Blessing] state for 20 seconds. While active, Attack is increased. When the state ends, both [Wind Sword] and [Thunder Sword] disappear.” |
| Lightning Storm | Base art | “While [Baishan’s Blessing] is active, press [Block]+[Heavy Attack] to unleash a powerful [Lightning Storm] and end [Wind Sword] and [Thunder Sword] early.” |
| Unending Storm | Tempering art | “[Lightning Storm] pulls enemies in and builds both the Wind Gauge and Thunder Gauge for each enemy hit.” |
| Centered Breath | Weapon level 5 | “Hold [Heavy Attack] to convert Sha-Chi into the Thunder Gauge buildup.” |
| Elemental Confluence | Weapon level 10 | “Lv. 1: Slightly increases the buildup rates of the Wind Gauge and Thunder Gauge. Lv. 2: Moderately increases the buildup rates of the Wind Gauge and Thunder Gauge. Lv. 3: Greatly increases the buildup rates of the Wind Gauge and Thunder Gauge.” |
| Wind Infusion | Weapon level 15 | “A parry builds the Wind Gauge.” |
| Baishan’s Divine Favor | Weapon level 25 | “Extends the duration of [Baishan’s Blessing] to 30 seconds.” |
What it is good for
The Wind Gauge and Thunder Gauge are the two central meters for Baishan Stormswords. When [Wind Sword] and [Thunder Sword] are both active, you enter Baishan’s Blessing, which boosts Attack for 20 seconds. Block + Heavy Attack then spends the effect to unleash Lightning Storm.
At weapon level 15, Wind Infusion generates Wind Gauge when you parry. Reaching weapon level 25 unlocks Baishan’s Divine Favor, which raises the duration of Baishan’s Blessing to 30 seconds. Centered Breath converts Sha-Chi into Thunder Gauge buildup; pair it with the Sha-Chi combos rundown. For other main weapon options, see the best weapons early on list.
