Quick answer: The Waterfall Bridge bell is a red-cloth wooden cross at the head of a plank bridge beside the Valley Sha-Chi Tower complex in Weeping Creek Valley. It stands about 30 metres from the Collapsing Mandate Disciple’s campfire.
In Chapter 3 of Phantom Blade Zero, the bell sits on a rocky shelf outside the furnace works at Valley Sha-Chi Tower. Rest there before crossing the bridge: enemies wait on the other side, and Soul returns to this bell if he dies nearby.
Where the Waterfall Bridge bell is in Weeping Creek Valley
The ledge is marked by oversized, rusted iron pipes tracing the stone and red threads dangling from the tower overhead. Use the campfire there to orient yourself.

The first time you rest, the map shifts to this area and places the bell icon beside the plank bridges, at the edge of the Valley Sha-Chi Tower complex. The menu for the bell is titled “Waterfall Bridge”.

The menu offers Traverse, Upgrade Equipment, Train Abilities, Save and Leave, the same options as other bells. Once you’ve rested here, Waterfall Bridge is added as a Traverse destination for fast travel. When Soul dies nearby, including on the bridge itself, he comes back at this bell.
The Collapsing Mandate Disciple and the Pillars of Kunlun quest
The campfire before the bell is also where a quest opens. Press E on the Collapsing Mandate Disciple and he talks about how the Three Pillars of Kunlun have been shattered. When the conversation ends, the quest banner “PILLARS OF KUNLUN – Discover what happened to the Pillars of Kunlun” appears on screen.
Check the ground by the fire too. A small glowing item with a green glow lies beside him. Press E on it to read a page of the book PILLARS OF KUNLUN, COMMENTS ON THE PILLARS OF KUNLUN. The page indicator shows 9 dots, so the book runs to 9 pages.

This page praises the three masters:
- Master Yuyin is admired for both her martial skill and her kindness, and she gives orphaned girls a safe home.
- Master Huangxing speaks little and acts decisively. He once went alone into a Maskwalker stronghold and came back days later with the heads of several strong foes.
- Master Moji is as capable with the pen as with the sword and is known for settling disputes.
The book’s collection text reads:
“Even now, the name of the Pillars of Kunlun still carries great renown throughout the Wulin. As though the more often their deeds are told, and the farther their legend spreads, the longer the glory of those bygone days might endure, and the longer this crumbling Mandate might hold together.”
Before you cross the Waterfall Bridge
Past the bell, a wooden gateway hung with red cloth leads onto a rope-and-plank bridge. Beyond it, a wide plank deck is held by a group of Brutes and Madwomen that attack together, among them a Brute with a round shield.

Rest at the Waterfall Bridge bell before you step through the gateway.
