Search For The Needle: How to Get the Hollow Badge

The Hollow badge in Search For The Needle comes from one boss fight at the end of a candle hunt. You reach the game through the Hollow event hub. You then gather hay, find and light candles while staying away from skeletons, and take down the pumpkin boss that appears once every candle is lit.

Entering Search For The Needle from the Hollow event hub

Launch the game at the Hollow event hub. This places you in the hub area containing the theatre.

Go inside the theatre and interact with the Concessions counter. It opens the selection for the game.

Select Search for the Needle from the options at the counter.

Choose the Let’s Go option. This teleports you into the game.

Collecting hay and finding the first candle

To summon the boss, you need to find four candles from the haystack.

Once you are next to the haystack, click on it to start collecting hay. Keep searching for candles at the same time.

When you have 25 hay, move to the trough and click it to feed the hay to the cow.

Buy upgrades as you go by pressing the Tab key. Upgrades let you collect hay faster, which speeds up the loop.
